you should read post#1, gerrardling's quote, total return is 7.8%  biggrin.gif
*
Yea, 5% cash back, 2% Smartcash and benefit from using BHP e-card. nod.gif

Last time I remember, 270 points get me a can of Red Bull. (RM1 = 1 point). So, that's about 0.8% additional "cash back" there. biggrin.gif

the cashback has gone up already to 8%. currently u can get rm10 tesco voucher for 1000 bhp points. i think currently the highest petrol cash back on weekday would be combination of uob one card + bhp petrol on weekday

Off topic a bit, BHPetrol is not good from my experience, it made my Myvi engine sound rough doh.gif

Also not so fuel efficient for Myvi + BHP... Petronas gives best bang-for-the-buck for Myvi

Petronas jimat tapi no power...I'm using Caltex. Not so jimat but the engine feels smooth biggrin.gif

i swipe my uob at BHP pumps all the time... eventho receipt doesnt show smartcash, the monthly statement sent does shows...

btw, i received a call from UOB few days ago... saying theres this insurance thingy from Prudential for UOB cc... something like RM0.65 monthly and if no balance no need to pay the premium...

anyone taking it? should i take it? my credit limit is 8k only and i have no balance every month one... so to me take or not doesnt make much difference...
*
Don't take it, waste of money. Especially since u treat ur CC as a payment tool and not a credit facility. Good financial habit thumbup.gif

really? .65 percent as long as got transaction? the lady told me 65 cents and no outstanding balance no need to pay... if thats the case i got conned...
i asked the lady and she say yes...
*
The insurance is calculated based on amount outstanding as at statement date, not the amount that u choose not to pay off. But I forgot exactly whether it's based on average balance or the balance as at statement date. I remember this because I'm same like u, I pay off my CC bill in full every month roughly 10+ days after the statement date, yet I kena the insurance thingy, that's why I felt conned and cancelled it.

But seriously, why the need to be so strict on the choice of words? It's not like saying "waiving GST" will get u locked up in Kamunting or arrested by Secret Police. Even card agents/sales reps are openly using that "W" word when getting ppl to sign up for cards.

why is mbb2 cards better?..u mean for the gold card too?
*
ONE is only good for petrol esp BHPetrol (5% rebate + 2% SmartCash)

Groceries at hypermarts like Carrefour and Giant only get 2% rebate, OCBC Titanium get 5%

Any other things only 0.3% yawn.gif
