So far I can only receive TVi, TV1 and TV2 on digital mode, using my smart LED TV in my condo in Klang Valley.

Hi I have a DVBT Ready TV.
How do I connect to digital station?

On my apartment there is a connection that says Antenna, Satellite and FM. I connect my TV to the antenna port and the scan failed to detect digital station at Kepong area

No special antenna or box, because I stay in a condo with centralized antenna where I just connect my LED TV to the antenna port provided by the condo.

Hi. I'm in condo too and there is 2 port, Ant and Sat.
Which one to use?

Satellite is for Astro, Antenna is for TV. You have to connect the antenna port to your TV. You can tune in to both Analog TV stations as well as Digital TV and radio stations after that. May I know is your condo new? Some old condos may not have the latest centralized antenna.

Yeah my condo is new with centralized Ant. smile.gif
No reception at kepong yet.

Hey lowyat,
I bought a Smart TV few days ago and want to try out digital TV.
TV model, LG 49UJ652T

Somehow unable to get any signal from digital, only analog is available.

I'm using auto tuning from the settings.
I bought a cable and plug in as shown below.

Basically my condo Balcony is facing West while KL Tower on my South East.

So I hope this indoor antenna with 36db gain can receive signal

Even with 36db gain, my condo at menjalara can only receive signal when I hold this antenna at the balcony window. I bring it away from window by 1ft and signal is gone. Is this because my balcony is facing another side of kl tower?

How are they going to resolve this issue for consumer ?

At the risk of pointing out the obvious, have you turned on the power for the antenna?

If you have, this is kind of to be expected for now. The best solution is as you have found out - mount that antenna somewhere near the window.
*
Thats the weird part. When i plug the antenna (light is on) with the supplier booster with USB to TV, I do not get any signal even holding it close to the window.
But when i disconnect the booster and directly plug the antenna to tv, i get the signal when holding at the window. I will check the booster again later today and update.

I don't think you should be too concerned about it, if your viewing experience has been good so far (i.e no. pixelation, no stuck image, no intermittent outage)

Thanks for the advice.
