you can only receive digital TV in KL area (RTM test broadcast), or Johor (singapore TV)

you will need a DVB-T tuner and normal UHF antenna

may be DMB-T/H is better, tv channels can be streamed to handphone

usually TV antennas are simply called UHF or VHF antenna, not HDTV antenna

if you combine UHF+VHF antenna and connected to your TV, you should be able to get Malaysian analog terrestrial TV signal receiving these channels: TV1, TV2, TV3, NTV7, TV8, TV9

if your TV has build-in DVB-T2 (ie. in the latest model of LG and sumsung HDTV) and hook up your same antenna to such TV, you can receive additional Malaysian test digital TV channels if you are located in KL/kelantan/trengganu area, and Singapore's digital TV channels if you are in Johor state

DVB-T2 decoder should be able to receive dvb-T signal, what sort of decoder is yours, can you tune to channel news asia at Channel 38 (UHF 610MHz) which is broadcast in dvb-T signal.
