Is that MTV Live HD which is premium channel is offer in Thailand Digital TV for free or need to pay?

Can you watch France 24, Travel Channel & MTV Live HD?
If you can, then here we just wait & wait see that Digital TV in Malaysia will have 80 channel with 45 HD include. But, until today just talk & talk only...

I'm not sure is this the official analogue switch off, or just their usual daily off air time, as I'm confused on TV2 Facebook post of the ASO postponement to 20 Aug for Central and Southern Region.

19 August 2019:

12.30am:
Ulu Kali: TV3 shows test card with test tone. Went off air 2-3 minutes later.
Bkt Sg Besi: TV3 shows colour bar with test tone. Goes off air few minutes after Ulu Kali went off air.

1am:
Bukit Sungai Besi: all eems has switched off all analogue stations (TV1, TV2, TV3, 8TV, TV9) except NTV7, which is still showing test card with test tone.

1.08am:
Ulu Kali: 8TV has gone off air. NTV7 showing the usual NTV7 test card with test tone, while TV9 showing colour bars with test tone. TV1 and TV2 still on air.
Bkt Sg Besi: TV3, NTV7, 8TV, TV9 has gone off air. TV1 and TV2 still on air.

In conclusion for now, only TV1 and TV2 is on air on analogue. Media Prima ones has off air (not sure if it's ASO).

On digital TV, all FTA stations are still showing programmes as usual, as opposed to analogue TV.

Well, its just my findings for now... I'm curious to see how our Malaysian analogue broadcast being switched off... I'm not sure if this is really ASO or just daily midnight off air. Now my "excitement" to see how it switches off, are kinda died off...
I'll just tune to analogue TV later morning and see how lo...

There is no specific time is given, that's the thing. We can only assume it'll be switch off within the day of 30 Sept but the time is uncertain.

Only RTM analogue channels from these transmitters: Gn Ulu Kali, Bkt Sg Besi and KL tower, is still up and running. We'll, they're on air 24/7 even on analogue except media prima channels.

I think, just turn on your analogue TV next morning and see if analogue broadcast is still there... If it's still No Signal, then that's it. That's analogue switch off in Malaysia. Nothing significant, although I hope to see some message that inform viewers that analogue has switch off (similar like Singapore and many other countries around the world).

Actually entire West Coast of Malaysia and Sumatra Island is only separated by Straits of Malacca. There is no mountains to block here, so Malaysian radio signals can easily reach some parts of Sumatra. In fact, based on reports in Indonesia, Malaysian TV and radio stations are popular within areas that can receive Malaysian TV. (There is no Indonesian TV via TV antenna in some areas, and Malaysian TV are often the only way to receive any TV channels in these areas. However they will now have to switch to DTT now in order to get Malaysian TV.) Malaysian Radio often have better content than local Indonesian radio too. There are reports where the Indonesian TVRI signal from Medan (at that time still on VHF Band, now on UHF band) interferes the VHF signal transmitted from Gunung Keldang on Lumut area, until a relay had to be installed by RTM for viewers in these areas to improve signal quality in these areas.

SKMM and it's predecessors has doing so badly in terms of frequency planning by just setting 50km from border area within Singapore, Thailand and also Brunei. Also they do not take the advantage of vertical polarization to maximize coverage and minimise interference.

Analogue switch off (ASO) on 15 Oct midnight for Gn Ulu Kali transmitter:

TV9 show colour bar at 12am, and then shows ASO message at the same time as TV3.

TV3 close down around 12.33am after national anthem, then it crossfade (transition) to the ASO message.
Both TV3 and TV9 shows ASO message on 12.33am.

TV1 and TV2 suddenly become no audio on 12.34am. Video is up as usual. Seconds later, TV1 channel suddenly show TV2 (so random lol), 1 sec later, it switches back to TV1, seconds later, ASO message appears on both TV1 and TV2 channels.

Lol, not so smooth transition to the ASO for RTM channels. The broadcast guys must be pressed wrong button lol

Now, only NTV7 and 8TV is up on air. NTV7 is due to switch off at 1am, 8TV is at 2am.
