Is Malaysia actually broadcasting in DVB-T2? And what makes you think FTA broadcasts in Malaysia is watchable.

QUOTE(RAMChYLD @ May 31 2013, 04:52 PM) Doesn't look like any of the models is being sold in Malaysia Sony Malaysia still selling HX/BX/EX models. No W models. If you can still find this Sony Bravia 55HX955, then you will have a DVB-T2 capable TV. Mediacorp is already broadcasting test signals in DVB-T2. Specs are here: http://asia.cnet.com/product/sony-bravia-k...ed-46728504.htm

QUOTE(Qash-M @ Jun 2 2013, 01:14 AM) http://www.sony.com.my/product/kdl-55hx955Didn't stated if it's DVB-T/T2 ready, just only "Digital" was mentioned. Can you see the pic I've attached? It shows I am watching HD5, if you know what it is.

QUOTE(Qash-M @ Jun 3 2013, 12:20 AM) Oh, only HD5 in DVB-T2 trial one? I thought it'd still only on DVB-T... There are 4 other Mediacorp test channels broadcasting in DVB-T2. My HX955 is able to receive it.

QUOTE(smileguy @ Jun 3 2013, 10:22 AM) OK ,then u recieve signal via the usual aerial? I bought 2 DX brand antennas one UHF and one VHF that are made in Japan to reduce ghosting on analogue channels but doesn't really work that well, but it works well with digital signal. Then I bought 2 Maspro boosters to help with the signal amplification, which is not really needed, just being kiasu.

QUOTE(chuppachop @ Jun 3 2013, 11:49 AM) What are the other 4 channels? Just a blank screen with a running ticker on top saying its a test DVB-T2 signal and any information please call Media Development Authority of Singapore. The channel epg states the channels are Channel 5, 8, CNA and Channel U or Okto, can't remember.
