Any user here can get MYTV signal from Gunung Jerai (Utara Malaysia)?

Confirm Trial at Gunung Jerai got 8 channels!
Tested at Sungai Petani time 10pm ++!

Re-scan the frequency today, using out door antenna, old 666MHz got Signal Quality 99%, but 698Mhz only 25-40% Signal Quality!
That confirm new 698MHz had weaker transmission power!!! sad.gif

Can try this simple one best use on high floor building, but need to find direction and best position.

My 2nd floor house can received ~40KM away transmitter, with correct position.
Signal Quality 99% during clear /cloudy day. Heavy raining day never test out as my place very long time never had heavy rain...
2nd option Bow Tie had better reception power!

Penang and Kedah ppl should get CH45(666MHz) & CH49(698MHZ).

if Signal Quality below 30%, you should not getting any channel.
If Signal Quality between 30% to 50%, you getting freeze, square image picture quality.

Mean that your antenna is VHF, not UHF antenna.
Either fine tune you antenna direction/position or get Cheap Thailand 5e antenna (lazada or Shopee ~$30/=)should be able to resolve it.

My nephew double storey landed house use thai 5e at Bukit Tengah(install at 2nd floor outdoor, bought ~$30/=), install with correct direction and position work great (above 90% signal Quality)! Don't buy those cheap below $10/= antenna, get those Digital antenna with Amplifier, it should work better if the Management can't help you resolve centralize antenna. and you need to enable Antenna Amplifier to ON, through software setting (either TV box or TV own setting).

My understanding, indoor antenna is those type that had short length cable and not Sunny/Rain protection one, whatever antenna antenna if can put outside and withstand Sunny/Rain, can act as outdoor antenna!

Anyone had same issue as mine?
During raining day, DTV display became block, and if Heavy rain, signal lost!
