Hi, just installed digital antenna with my TV that has built in decoder.

I get around 10% signal level with 100% signal quality.
Occassionally I would lose the channel altogether.

Any idea what might cause this? Have already checked that the antenna is pointing towards the nearest transmitter (Bt. Sungai Besi - from Banting). Attached is the picture of my antenna in case it helps with the problem identification.

Point it to Gunung Ulu Kali (Genting Highlands).

Previously was pointing to Bt Sg Besi, not that much directional difference. However line of sight was more disturbed by the roof.

Too hassle to find a longer stick or to relocate the antenna at different location as will need a new bracket.

So i guess ill stick with the current signal level, as if im not mistaken it does not change the viewing quality (as signal quality is still 100%). It only matters when the signal level/strength became too low that the channels drop altogether like what happened previously. Let me know if this is not true ya.

I think they are on dailymotion, which I remember some of the channels either tv3 or 8tv support up till 1080p

What frequency did you scan? My location is KL but I did not get the test channels you mentioned after I did auto scan.

666MHz is the current frequency in Klang Valley that houses all existing channels in one MUX.

I tried both auto scan and manual scan, but didn’t get the extra test channels that you managed to receive.

Batang Kali, Menara KL and Bkt Sg Besi are on the same channel and broadcasting the same signal in SFN. From Banting the three are all in the same general direction

Is there anyway to set auto add on the MYTV basic box?

Ooh I got the test channel in different mux also. But seems like the transmitter is operating on very low power that my antenna in Kapar barely catches it.

Local frequency for your area for MUX 2 is Channel 52 (722MHz)
