Any SEA countries that uses DVB-T2 should be fine.
Australia, UK, also can one... Country doesn't matter much, as long it is DVB-T2, it scans UHF frequencies and the bandwidth is 8MHz, with the frequency range of 470-742MHz*, you should get it without any issues.

*Once ASO has completed and 700MHz band begin using for 4G/5G, frequency range for digital TV will become 470-694MHz.

Btw which area are you from? You can refer to the list of frequencies here:

*
Wangsa Maju Ampang and Cheras.

Problem is the videostation software is quite limited, can't even manually scan frequencies. only options available:

Oh, since it's within Klang Valley, just manual scan 666MHz (Channel 45) and 698MHz (Channel 49).
For Country, Singapore should be fine. As for Region, select "DVB-T2 All"

Your area no signal? Erm, why not try common methods like using a DVB-T2 box or your TV's built in digital TV tuner to try receive digital TV first?
How about your UHF antenna? Indoor or outdoor?

I can't manual scan, at least from using videostation. that's why I ask for help, like if there's a similar frequency-ranged country that I can use to auto scan. so at least if there's one, like singapore and DVB-T2 All, and I still can't find any station, I know that it's most likely because I can't get any signal from where I am.

I can prolly use some windows app to scan, but the reason I'm using a NAS is because I wanna stream DVB files anywhere.

btw I'm using this.

Wangsa Maju has a very poor signal, in many parts there is no line of sight to any of the three transmitters. Bkt Dinding blocks Bkt Besi, Manara KL is behind new towers and Genting is blocked by Bkt Antarabangsa

ah, I see. so most likely it's not my fault then. that sucks, you'd think the gomen would've deployed more towers before moving to 100% digital doh.gif
