QUOTE(sugen @ Sep 6 2019, 11:29 PM) I am using LG TV model 55LA7400- TC. It does has DTV gunner build in. However, no matter how I tuned it ( auto or manual) it prompts no signal. I am using condo central antenna & confirm no issue on that. Wonder why my LG TV can’t receive digital signal. I think it's on DVB-T only. When did you buy the TV? ![]() |

Are you able to receive all analogue channels clearly? ![]() Have you tried changing other cables? Do make sure the cable type used to connect to your condo's centralise TV antenna port is RG-6 type, not those cheap old ones as it may degrade the signal. How about your nearby neighbours within your condo block? Are they able to receive all digital TV channels via centralised antenna? If still cannot, contact your building management to check on that. Or, you can contact MYTV customer service at 1800-18-1088 and tell them the issue you're facing. MYTV might contact your condo building management to provide some solutions. Yet, if these are too much of a hassle, get a good indoor UHF antenna, or set up your own outdoor antenna. If your building management doesn't allow own antenna to be installed outside, try place it in a spot where it doesn't look too protruding and obvious, while able to get stable signal of 666Mhz and 698MHz. Perhaps, no one would notice and complain, and they would just close one eye I dunno how strict is your condo management, so don't blame me ya... But if later they tell you to take down the outdoor antenna, then take down lo... This post has been edited by joshhd: Sep 7 2019, 12:33 AM |

QUOTE(ccgoay @ Sep 7 2019, 01:05 AM) if Signal Quality below 30%, you should not getting any channel. For ch45, my signal quality is 70-95%, signal strength always 100%. If Signal Quality between 30% to 50%, you getting freeze, square image picture quality. For ch49, signal quality and strength always 0%. Do u have any idea? I'm clueless now.. Thanks |

The building condo management does come by bring their own TV, plug in and immediately can get the signal. Had read through LG manual. Sadly..My TV is DVB-T only. Not T2.

Not T2. Woah... Bring their own TV to your unit and try... So good wehh. In the case of your TV unable to support DVB-T2, then you got 2 options. One is buy new TV that comes with DVB-T2, or just get a digital TV box. |

Not T2. Time to buy new TV..Since yours already 4 years usage.. Normally year 5 onwards.. Problems would start to show 😈 And since your current one don't support.. Straight buy with DVB-TV2 easier 👍 |

On another note, yeah I think so too that Astro should start airing Go Shop Mandarin and Go Shop Tamil on MYTV Myfreeview platform too.
This way they can gain more Chinese and Indians customers as many of them have DVB-T2 official or unofficial decoders and DVB-T2 capable televisions. Definetely win-win situation for Astro. |

QUOTE(ccgoay @ Sep 7 2019, 05:28 PM) Mean that your antenna is VHF, not UHF antenna. Hi, how to identify my condo centralize antenna is vhf or uhf? I can watch 8tv and ntv7 by analogue signal, does it mean the center antenna is able to receive uhf signal for digital broadcasting as well?Either fine tune you antenna direction/position or get Cheap Thailand 5e antenna (lazada or Shopee ~$30/=)should be able to resolve it. If not, i can buy indoor uhf antenna but worry about poor reception. I saw a store selling at rm6 but hesitate to try. What type is your recommendation for indoor uhf antenna for best reception? |

Coz now I able to receive digital uhf ch 45 with good signal strength n quality. Only ch 49 having problem. I stay in condo so no chance to fine tune antenna on my own..Either fine tune you antenna direction/position or get Cheap Thailand 5e antenna (lazada or Shopee ~$30/=)should be able to resolve it. |

Inform the building management about this.. The centralise antenna may need to do some realignment by the technicians. Or else, contact MYTV and tell them about this. |

Yeah, got Go Shop Tamil package. I think its only there if you subscribe to the Indian package.
But Astro should make all these 3 versions of Go Shop (Malay, Chinese, Indian) free (FTA) on MYTV Myfreeview platform. |
