For the first few days after April 1, I couldn't receive channels on MUX 2, but after applying power and boosting the signal on my indoor aerial (my indoor aerial is a powered antannae with a frequecy strength gain control), I could receive all channels HD no problem, Rain or Shine. BTW, I'm staying 33 - 42KM out from KL, somewhere in the outskirts of KL and the areas is somewhat hilly.

On another note, RTM, what happen to "School Of Rock" every Saturday morning on TV1 and Korean drama on TV2 at 8:30PM - 9:30PM Monday to Fridays?

Please bring them back. Those shows got a lot of fans.

Also on RTM HD Sports, why is One Championship kickboxing/mixed martial arts in Malay when TV1 is already showing it in Malay? IT SHOULD BE IN ENGLISH ON RTM HD SPORTS, in its original English language like when it first started. I hope RTM HD Sports can rectify this problem and leave One Championship commentry in English as lots of people I know are eager to watch the English language version over on RTM HD Sports.

Suddenly tonight all channels cannot receive! What the hell is wrong with MYTV?

All SD channels and HD channels for Semenyih cannot receive!

How are they going to prepare for the analog switch off if they keep having disruptions?

Now I have to watch Hypp TV/Unifi TV because there is something important I want to watch on TV2 starting 9:30PM today night.

MYTV tak boleh harap one lah!!!!!

I hope MYTV Myfreeview do hurry up and do something about the transmission/broadcast in Semenyih as the signal is too weak.

They should increase the signal strength for all SD, HD and radio channels on MUX 1 and MUX 2 so that I don't miss any of the programs.

Last time, more than 1 1/2 years ago, when I first bought my MYTV Advance official decoder, I put my indoor UHF aerial in the middle of the closed room with the window and curtains shut the whole day and I could receive all channels sharp and clear without disruption rain or shine. Even with the door close, I could still receive.

But now, by placing that indoor aerial high up on the window griille I still cannot receive. In that position, last week I was still able to receive, BUT IN THESE LAST FEW DAYS I CANNOT RECEIVE ANYTHING. Now, the decoder always says "No Signal", even after Auto Scan, it still says the same problem.

I hope MYTV Myfreeview would do something quickly to rectify this problem by increasing the power to their transmitters for better signal strength so that I don't have to miss my shows everyday.

Can't receive any HD channels and it's becoming even more like rubbish with TV2 replacing TV Show "Ransom" every Sunday night with some stupid crap Malay show.

Even that "School Of Rock" on TV1 every Saturday morning got replaced by another crap show.

On Media Prima' s channels Marvel's Runways and Kopitiam got suddenly took off and replaced by crap.

They should show more American, Canadian, Austrailian, New Zealand, UK, English TV series/shows/dramas/documentaries on RTM and Media Prima channels.

No wonder the Chinese in the northern states watch Thai DVB-T2.

I don't know how MYTV Myfreeview is going to handle the analog swith off in June or July this year.

Already missed RTM HD Sports 5 days in a row.

They better do something about it fast or Malaysia's analog switch off will be a failure.

Compare that with Thai DVB-T2, Thailand has better programs, more channels (dozens of channels) and reliable stable broadcast.

Compare that with UK Digital Terrestrial Broadcast, U.K. has even better Red
Button/Teletext function with Stock Market Info and Board Index, Travel Information, Traffic Information, Horoscope, Jokes and Riddles etc. Some even have Teletext/Interactive functions or channels that have games.

It's such a shame that DVB-T projects/test broadcasts started in BOLEHLAND in 2005 spearheaded by RTM where we are the first to start Digital Terrestrial TV transmission, long before any SEA country, but now we are the last to finish.

Other SEA countries started later and now have already completed DVB-T2 broadcasting in their respective countries with dozens or not even hundreds of interesting channels.

To improve MYTV Myfreeview, the rumoured planned 111 free-to-air DVB-T2 TV channels and the currently numerous Malaysian FM radio stations and Net Radio stations (which are non-Astro and total to be more than 200+) better plan to simulcast and start broadcasting on MYTV Myfreeview platform too.

That will give Astro a run for its money. They can start by brodcasting the planned 48 FTA Chinese TV channels and 2 home shopping channels first.

Also MYTV better improve their broadcast quality as some areas have poor reception.

Another thing they need to improve is their Red button service, include OTT and VOD portals like RTM MyKlik and Media Prima's Tonton on the MYTV Myfreeview decoder and if they can't, include content similiar to it.

For some time last year Sirius Digital Sattelite TV was giving away free trial decoders during its trial/testing phase. Now they going to launch somewhere next month. Can access VOD content by using sattelite, no need phone line. Maybe even Internet - this one I'm not sure wether can aceess Internet or not.

Better if they come in, more competition for Astro.

Have you all heard of Enjoy TV and Long TV Net TV?

Long TV and Enjoy TV is Malaysia's legally MCMC approved Net TV service. Long TV's got hundred thousands/millions of content and hundreds of Net TV channels. They are available with a STB/TV Box for a very low subscription starting at RM30+ a month, but you pay one lump sum annual fee. Covers the STB/TV Box and content/channels. Some more there's no interruptions or disruptions unless your Internet service is out.

Furthermore, both Long TV and Enjoy TV said they going to launch 4-8 Digital Terrestrial TV channels respectively on MYTV Myfreeview.

NTV7 8PM news is basically rubbish.

Everybody knows their budget got cut heavily, that's why I say their 8PM English News is rubbish.

News programme a bit paranoid and schizophrenic.

Joshhd, I totally agree with you. MCMC should focus on more important matters rather than some whimsical lame flimsy excuse to ban TV Boxes, foreign IPTV decoders and foreign sattelite TV decoders. They should collobrate with MYTV and fix the areas with poor, intermittent or no reception at all for MYTV Myfreeview broadcasts. They should address the issues of why subtitle (closed captioning), Teletext and Red Button services is not working on MYTV platform. Also they should fix the missing intermittent TV show name, sypnosis and info on the MYTV EPG. No matter what day, no matter what time, EPG must always be there 24/7.

MCMC should concentrate on areas where there is no fibre Internet or Internet at all and start rolling out the 5G cellular network and concentrate on more important things that matters.

Astro on the other hand is a big bully and big monopoly buissness which collobrates with MCMC and conspires against their competitors to bring down other competing TV services and make them go bankrupt or fail. Astro services and content are basically rubbish and you pay so much through your nose. Astro is basically showing low class garbage, low quality programs, low rating programs that no bobody wants to watch. Basically they are showing a lot of rubbish and there subscription prices are so expensive. That's why I cut off my Astro subscription a long time ago. I was paying RM150+ a month earlier for so much crap and garbage from Astro.

By Astro collobrating with MCMC to bring down other TV service providers, they will make more people hate and despise Astro and stop using Astro for good.

On another note, is RTM HD Sports going to show the latest tournament/episode of "ONE Championship"?

And on RTM TV2, what happened to "The Good Doctor" drama every Tuesday nights?

I hope it comes back and they show all the latest episodes again.

Drats!! Telekom Malaysia HyppTV/UnifiTV is going to stop airing RTL CBS Entertainment or Blue Ant Entertainment channel.

That is a very good channel, why are they going to stop it?

They did the same thing to other good channels like the Sony Channel and Syfy Channel, which are all my very favourite channels including Blue Ant Entertainment.

Even sports channels like HyppSports 1,2,3,4,5,6 have all been taken away from us.

I hope TM HyppTV/UnifiTV, ABANDON ALL PLANS to cancel Blue Ant Entertainment channel and bring back The Sony Channel and Syfy channel as well as all the Hyppsports channels as many people I know who have HyppTV and UnifiTV IPTV (me included) are complaining.

Furthermore the playback or Interactive TV function for the EPG can only select and view or binge and watch shows from the past 1 week.
Sometime back you could select and view shows from the schedule from the past 2 weeks. TM, please make it capable to select and play from the past 2 weeks.

Even the damn Teletext mode or Interactive TV additional functions are not working, local and global news, sports, business, entertaintment news as well as horoscope, weather, flight information etc is not updated. Please update all of it, please.

I don't think so, millions of people if not billions of people watch those channels because I know many people who watch them and don't tell me iflix bought all those exclusive rights to all Hyppsports channels?

Maybe 1 or 2 programs can say-lah they bought the rights, but hundreds of them?

And show me proof that those channels have cease operations?

If TM IPTV can't provide complete Teletext or Interactive TV service, then it is sad because a lot of people I know use and view it.

Remember Beriteks or Malaysian Teletext back in the 80s and 90s? It was damn good, complete, always updated daily and had tonnes of content from travel information (train, bus and airplane), trivia, jokes and riddles, edutaintment, global and local news, sports, entertaintment, buissness, stock market results and info, games, important government agency and department contact numbers, story of the day, TV and Radio program schedule, tourist attractions etc in English. Best of all it was free. I think TM should fire all their current teletext, HyppTV/UnifiTV Interactive content staff and rehire those people or staff who did Beriteks from both RTM and Media Prima way back in the 80s and 90s to update HyppTV/UnifiTV Interactive content.

What happen to MYTV EPG?

Already more than 2 days it has gone missing.

MYTV should put the EPG back immediately for all Digital Terrestrial TV and Digital Terrestrial Radio channels and must not go missing in future no matter what the situation of the day is.

Astro should also start airing Go Shop Mandarin (Chinese) and Go Shop Tamil (Indian) channels on MYTV Myfreeview platform too then they can get more sales from Chinese and Indian customers too as I know a lot of Chinese and Indians do watch MYTV Myfreeview too.

Actually, there is GO Shop Tamil but they don't have a 24/7 dedicated channel unlike Go Shop Chinese and Malay. It comes as some Go Shop shows back to back as a home shopping TV Show on one of the time slots on the Indian channels on Astro. I've seen it and they also advertise that's why I know.

Better have Go Shop Chinese channel and Go Shop Tamil channel for MYTV Myfreeview that way win-win situation for both MYTV Myfreeview and Astro, Astro sell products to Chinese and Indian customers make money, in turn MYTV Myfreeview revenue also increase because got 3 Astro channels on MYTV.
