can the antenna be installed in the attic area, under the shiny metallic sun film? does it block tv signal a lot?

my antenna placed at the car porch (antenna under balcony), via a shorter cable, gives stronger tv signal (@ 90% signal) than having placed at 1st floor balcony, via house internal wiring (antenna under the sun, out of the roof) (@ 60% signal).
 Both wiring are RG6U. I guess too much transmission loss if I use internal house wiring. |

Is there special circuit inside this MTN466097 that can filter the signal and pass it to the appropriate port, such as satellite signal goes to the F connector, and terestrial tv signal goes to the bellinglee connector?Is it worth to buy a standard F plug to avoid signal loss?
