For those that have bought SME set before, could you share what's the difference on SME set compared to AP set? I would be great to share since a lot of us are going for SME set. To avoid getting an AP set instead.

come on, this SME set vs AP set fiasco is discuss again? There is a dedicated pinned thread explaining this. Please check b4 asking it again here.

Great that you point out that there's a thread about this. What i found is talking about FMG sets. I didn't find any pinned thread talking about SME sets.

*All, I'm asking in my reply if you could share, I'll appreciate if you can. If you can't, there's always someone else that would like to.

Yeah that's why I'm still doubting whether they are really one of the SEP or not.
They keep telling people they are directly under Samsung and whatsoever but they do not have proof and even Samsung officials say there are no SEP in Penang.
So it is either a miscommunication, or that dealer is making a false claim.
*
There are SEP in Penang. Samsung email/phone support is totally bullshit. I've called once and they can't even tell the shop name. Kept telling Georgetown, Georgetown.

This image is directly link from Samsung Malaysia official facebook page as in here: http://www.facebook.com/SamsungUnivez?sk=app_188553317838910

Now, the only question left is whether this YM Cellular is Mobile Spirit? Can someone there in 1st Avenue go check their shop lot number if it's 2C-K-06 & 07 or check with 1st Avenue customer service? rolleyes.gif

What about Peggy Khoo who said before 3pm already sold out 300?  Maxis cheating ke?
*
They think they can start selling it right away if there's already more than 300 ppl in the queue. No point waiting until 3pm for that. If someone come at 3pm also queue over 300.

I saw from their facebook that they are giving waters and newspaper for those in the queue. Not bad at all.. at least

I just got my SGS2 from SEP at 1st Avenue, Penang. I've asked and confirmed they are Mobile Spirit, Samsung Elite Partner. YM cellular is their shop at Perangin Mall. The phone comes with 2years warranty from Samsung.

Bro did you pay deposit earlier to get the phone? Or you just walk in and buy?
How much you get and what free gifts they gave you?
Still in dilemma whether to buy from there or wait for Digi  doh.gif

Btw I think the pinned status is accidentally clicked by a moderator as I've read few pages back there is a moderator in this thread.  tongue.gif

I paid deposit last week. I only get screen protector. Heard other is getting a car charger. Might request from the boss again.

I just received a SMS saying my SGS2 is registered with e-warranty which stated there for 2 years. So, it's confirmed that SEP gives 2 years warranty.
