QUOTE(reijikageyama @ Jun 17 2011, 06:16 PM) if i'm not mistaken it's rm50 + rm88 + tax Is it that low only? I saw Celcom have to pay upfront RM 300 deposit for the plan itself. and do remember, if your usage above rm50 for calls/sms then will get charged also So meaning if I go there register new line just pay RM 799 + RM50 + RM 88 + tax in total? |

QUOTE(reijikageyama @ Jun 17 2011, 07:02 PM) if i'm not mistaken..but should have some upfront payment then they will deduct it in your future bills I think so, that's why I wanna know how much to pay upfront... I wonder if I go after work still got slots left for the 799 or not. There is 300 slots isn't it... |

Hm, Samsung announcement say can subscribe with Value First plan, but Maxis email say Value Plus only... who is right?
I'm not a heavy user of voice, so I want to pair data plan with Value First if possible... RM 20 difference amounts to a lot. This post has been edited by kurogane: Jun 17 2011, 08:26 PM |

QUOTE(StopSpamming @ Jun 17 2011, 10:26 PM) A naughty bird just flew in and told me this... Eh, are you sure? So if you go buy there still have to pay RM 2099 upfront anyways? wtf?We need to pay... 1st month : RM2,099 + [Value plan] + [3GB data] - [rebate RM58] 2nd month onwards : [Value plan] + [3GB data] - [rebate RM54] So total rebate is RM58 + [RM54*23] = RM1300, hence making the phone : RM2,099-RM1,300 = RM799 Now, if your Value plan is RM30, 3GB data is RM88 (-RM10), then... 1st month, you pay RM2,099 + RM30 + RM78 - RM58 = RM2,149 Subsequently, you pay RM 30 + RM78 - RM54 = RM54 So, Maxis collects your money upfront and earn interest...hehehe!!! Make sense, anyone?? |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 17 2011, 10:38 PM) Yes . I agree this buy plan sounds more realistic knowing Maxis . In principle similar to HTC flyer. You pay full first and over 2 years slowly rebate back to you. Anyway if you consume that lot of data is still worth it. Paying outright rm799 for phone is incredibly unbelievable from Maxis I guess that makes sense too.. if it's really like that, I can't get it at launch then. Don't have the cash yet. |

So if launch event still pay 2099 upfront... if i take the promo 1199 plan, do i still pay 2099 upfront and they rebate over the contract period?
