Guys, Just curious is there any like led indicator to blink for notifications?

i found that this thread are discussing more on trying to get the phone rather than users discussing about their experience on using the phone and experience with using different ROMS.

I have the phone and not interested with going through all the replies about trying to get the phone from maxis or pre order. Please discuss it when u get the phone. I wanna know about difference of ROMS and experience of users. Please.....

Not too sure about that but after i flashed villain's 1.4 rom and do the trweak, the camera shutter sound is gone.

i just root my sgs2 can anyone suggest what to do after root?

right now i'm downloading villainrom 1.4... but don't know what to while waiting...

It seem like everyone is busy with the SGS2 Launch at Mid Valley.

Anyway, i am wondering if any of you have try this tweak for SGS2 and what is the result? This tweak to improve the bass and sound quality of SGS2.

I have try but i am stuck at the file renaming section.

Okay, preliminary testing of what I have to work with on stock firmware without ROMs and rooting - done.

As an iPhone 4 migrator, here's what I found.

Things NOT in Android:
1) Something like activator (tasker comes close though, but no remapping of long press keys like vol long presses to track skipping)
2) Something like coverfl0w + backgrounder that works with Gingerbread (for aesthetics only really)
3) Something like action menu for URL shortening (for everything else, Smart Keyboard Pro is good enough)
4) SBSettings (the built in toggles are close, but not as customizable)
5) Air Video, as in THE Air Video.

Things Android got I never had with iOS:
1) SMART FREAKING KEYBOARD PRO. This thing is awesome.
2) "Proper" alternative browsers - rather then shitty re-skins of Safari.
3) Widgets everywhere without killing off my RAM
4) Built in haptics (woo Samsung!)
5) Built in low battery mode (woo again Samsung!)
6) "Proper" email clients
7) Gesture locking that does NOT crash every few hours lol.
8) Statusbar notifications + that great smexy drawer

Great Android alternatives for iOS hack programs:
1) Lockinfo -> Widgetlocker + Executive Assistant
2) Springflash -> TeslaLED
3) GoSMS/Chomp/Handcent -> BiteSMS

And, surprise, surprise. Guess there ARE reasons why Apple could got so pissed with Samsung. Try pressing Power + Home lol.

To all new android user, what u all need is patient and passion.. my previous phone was n85 so this is my first time using android.

what u guys needs are
1) contant reading 
2) spent sometime
3) willing to take risk 
4) ask for guidance   
5) if possible read all the information in the first page

Yellowish screen is a prob with the 1st few batches of hp and normally is given a 1 to 1 exchange . As for pinkish spot in the camera , visit XDA under " general " section . Beside me , there r alot of other users confirming it's no longer there after firmware update . Some users r complaining hp auto rebooting which I personally do not encounter . Check your apps u installed  b4 u blaming it on the phone . Handcent SMS , from personal experience , doesnt seem to work well with 2.3 ....... I keep getting FC after a while when there is alot of sms in it like 3000+ . I got this not only in SGS2 but in ARC , Tab Ginger and Streak Ginger .
