Where did you get it from? As you've seem some folks here managed to get 1-on-1 exchange.

impossible cant get 1 to 1..since you just bought for 1 or 2day..

Sound unreasonable, your is ori or AP? Mine AP set also can get 1 to 1 exchanged if your are ori set somemore havent used why not?

coz ori set not seller warranty..so need go samsung to claim warranty..

dl cf-root, it shud be less than 10mb wan, then unzip, make sure it's format is .tar
open odin, dun tick anything extra, press PDA button, select the cf-root.tar
plug in ur phone, the top left u shud see yellow colour write com port #<-- any number
press then press start, dun touch the phone, cable or anything and pray.

the log at bottom left of odin will write res ok! and removed! if u flash complete, and top will got green colour, phone will restart by itself

then off ur phone. then press and hole home+power up+power button together until you enter clockworkmod.
here u use the volume button to go up and down, and home button to select
choose clear cache, clear it ad, then enter advance and choose clear dalvik, once clear ad, hold power button and off ur phone
then u enter download mode with home+voldown+start button and repeat the above process but this time replace cf-root.tar with villianrom's .tar

and yea, to answer ur question, we do not need anything else except pda, csc u can find in xda forums

habis. jz found my screen oso shows yellowish on left part after follow their procedure of checking. duno is my eye gt problem or wat, tonite after work will check again. if reli yes then GG zor =.=

sad lo me... i also just now see post from 9x page saw ppl write they got the problem coz yesterday i alr saw other also comment say got problem... then i scare alr check mine... then boom... saw the problem... arghh... make me ultra sad.... havent use got this d...

Hi i wanna enquire, i'm planning to buy my friend a samsung galaxy S II for his birthday. The glass is gorilla display right(means hard to crack?), What applications should i ask the samsung store guy to install? Cause im giving it as a gift....don want my friend susah susah go samsung ask help install.....just want him put in the sim card and use the phone Any issue with this phone?

I'm not sure but you should fight for it, since u didn't used yet, i think chances are quite high

I think not to panic everybody else its best to just do a screenie shot and post it and let other users verify their units are faulty.

No point dwell into this discussion on screen faulty if we are not sure ourselves how it looks like.

I just got my unit this afternoon and so far so good, I do admit mine have a little bright spot on the sides but thats normal to me since my iPAD and my iPhone have the similar issue as well.
