QUOTE(ZhaoYun @ Jun 22 2011, 09:19 PM) DiGi not that bad laa... better shit network coverage then kena overcharge tipu baik punya every month by Maxis. Never again Maxis. I will be sticking with Celcom only. Best coverage, good rates, and no bill tipu. DiGi, great service, great rates, no bil tipu also. |

QUOTE(ZhaoYun @ Jun 22 2011, 09:19 PM) Understand the coverage is important but below is my $$ analysis.Maxis RM88-RM10 (rebate) + RM30 =RM108 x 24 = RM2,592 + RM799 (if u r lucky) =RM3,391 Got iDigi88 and sell off the fruit iDigi RM88 x 24 = RM2,112 + RM2,099 =RM4,211 Let re-calculate. iDigi offers 3g data so does Maxis (but digi unlimited)..... iDigi offers 450 min + 400 sms + 50 mms to Maxis none. Assume we make the same amount of call minutes, sms and mms on Maxis plan. Maxis RM88-RM10+RM81(450 min x RM0.18)+RM40(400smsxRM0.10)+RM12.5(50xRM0.25) - RM30(pay for call under maxis plan) = RM181.50 x 24 mth = RM4,356 + RM799 (or whatever promo price for 24 mth) = RM5,155 (call&sms&mms charges is within maxis network) or RM5,555 (promo price RM1,199) or RM5,755 (aftr promo price). Digi remained at RMRM4,211 for same amt of call+sms+mms. Bear in mind that Digi data is unlimited while maxis charges when over 3g. Even i purchase the phone at RM2,099, I might gt free gifts like sd card, car charger and bluetooth which worth couple of hundred RM at least. If we did not make any call, sms & mms under maxis plan then Maxis is cheaper. Maxis RM3,391 (phone RM799) vs IDigi RM4,211 ..........Digi more x by RM820 provided we don make extra call, sms, mms If under Maxis we made same amt of call, sms&mms as IDigi offers then Maxis RM5,155 (phone RM799) vs iDigi RM4,211..........Maxis more x by RM944 Maxis RM5,555 (phone RM1,199) vs iDigi RM4,211..........Maxis more x by RM1,344 Maxis RM5,755 (phone RM1,399) vs iDIgi RM4,211..........Maxis more x by RM1,544 Hope my analysis is accurate and useful for you guys that still undecided what to get. |

Well, you guys can always go to Celcom. Not as fast, but dead stable and it covers the deepest darkest jungle (literally - I've tried).
But God, for alk the crap I used to throw at Android, it's not really all that bad. I had to mod all sorts of system crap to get a black keyboard in iOS, it's just a simple install in Android. A And iOS was supposed to be the "simple" OS lol. But UI wise, Android still has quite some while to go. Web rendering, for instance, is simply not as pretty as on iOS. Quite aptly, it's like browsing with Linux and comparing that to browsing on the Quartz powered OSX. BUT, like it or not, seems that Android gets the job done way faster and more efficiently. |

QUOTE(xsaintzx @ Jun 22 2011, 06:33 PM) Bro did you pay deposit earlier to get the phone? Or you just walk in and buy? I paid deposit last week. I only get screen protector. Heard other is getting a car charger. Might request from the boss again. How much you get and what free gifts they gave you? Still in dilemma whether to buy from there or wait for Digi Btw I think the pinned status is accidentally clicked by a moderator as I've read few pages back there is a moderator in this thread. |

my first observation comparing from my former SGS is the contacts cannot view from sim card. have to copy all the contacts to phone. On SGS doesn't have this problem.
