I just bought tegrak overclock ultimate. Can under volt the cpu. I'm trying undervolt now to see how much battery life can save..

Dear all, i'm very extremely interested in the galaxy S2. I tested the unit in the maxis launching event earlier today and it was slightly laggy and not at all fluid compared to an iphone 4 which has oni a single core processor.

Is SGS2 really not as smooth compared to the iphone? Or could the unit at the event be defected due to a little too overused for the day?

ya this firmware much much better than previous one..
run full charge at mid night and keep the phone idle till morning..
my phone still got 98%.. last time 88%.. a lot of improvement..

i m sure the demo unit has a lot software running behind because of improperly close

compared with my SGS..
the colour a bit better in SGS 2 (duh)
closing apps is a bit faster in SGS(darky rom with launcher pro)
opening apps especially camera is more faster with SGS 2

not even experience any lag on my phone..
its a great phone.. even my friend want to sell his 2 weeks Iphone 4
and want to buy this SGSII..

iv) root

Step 1: Find your desired theme here揠盝
Step 2: Find the correct zip file according to your stock rom or custom rom
Step 3: Put the theme.zip in your sdcard
Step 4: Reboot to cwm recovery mode
Step 5: Use install zip from sdcard option and locate ur theme.zip
Step 6: Flash and reboot
