How old is your baby? You can try to swaddle her..and see if this work. Sometimes, as they were cocooned in their mummy's tummy for 9 months...they have yet to adjust...and they love the feel that they are still in mummy's tummy.e.g. she sleeps soundly for an hour..then suddenly jolts and wakes up crying..then carry her...a while..falls asleep again..puts her back in the cot...sleep a while and wakes up with a jolt again....
