QUOTE(zheilwane @ Nov 15 2011, 06:32 AM) Nice bathrooms u have there weikee. Btw, good job for covering your Johnson Suisse Lago seat cover. Sometimes the foreign workers will use the toilet bowls to do their "business" and usually they will leave yellowish marks on the seat cover. learnt a new lesson over here, next time when I change my bowl, have to cover like that |

QUOTE(weikee @ Nov 20 2011, 08:53 AM) That is why i use 3M, and is certified. My plumber thought i use conventional sand filter, and made the inlet & outlet too wide. If make narrower it look even better. |

QUOTE(Jo_da48 @ Nov 20 2011, 09:48 AM) If I recall correct, the sale personal indicated the filter need to change every 1 year or when you found the air pressure drop...and it damn costly on the filter...somemore didnt have back wash... actually for cartridge changing, the correct way should be according to the filtered volume or used duration whichever comes earlierThis post has been edited by leeyung: Nov 20 2011, 10:37 AM |

QUOTE(ozak @ Nov 20 2011, 11:43 AM) For backwash one, the sands inside the filter will rearrange and washing themself, after that it will arrange back to its filtration layers accordingly, but the drawback is you are wasting the water to wash it only This post has been edited by leeyung: Nov 20 2011, 03:58 PM |

QUOTE(ozak @ Nov 20 2011, 04:15 PM) Why it waste water if the water can remove/wash the dirt out? So does the sand need to be replace after sometime when it no longer can filter? Because you need to let it run for 15-20minutes for washing, so it is wasting the water lor Water is still cheaper than replace the filter. QUOTE(weikee @ Nov 20 2011, 10:23 PM) Sand filter don't filter very good. My parent house had this problem and we change to membrane type. And is bulky. Haha, then we have to vote for change FYI, Sand need to change every 2 or 3 years. And is not very clean filter. Try take out the sand after 2 years. Is black / greenish and very slippery. Want to have good water, change the gov lah. In some country water can drink direct from tap not here. |

QUOTE(weikee @ Nov 27 2011, 11:11 PM) I know this many many years back. Malaysia Concrete work is really lousy compare to other country. Even Singapore do better job. icic, I am too new in reno thingy, the polymer flooring looks cool, duno the durability will high or not as Polymer consider quite soft as compared to tiles..Another coming famous is polymer flooring. Apply to concrete too. Also very nice. This post has been edited by leeyung: Nov 27 2011, 11:46 PM |

herm just wondering the PYE Acrylic sealer can be used in toilet to plaster the gaps in between tiles at the floor corner? so that the wall outside toilet will not trap the moisture
