Wow bro, very nicely renovated rclxms.gif
My contractor told me, white grout in bathroom looks nice only for short term, then will change color and not nice. Suggest for me to use color grouting. You heard of this problem before or you use some special white grouting?

Your kitchen sliding door, I wub.gif

How you treat plaster ceiling in bathroom to prevent mould? Or is it normal like any other part of the house?

Kitchen will be more an issue, the white grount in my toilet planing to seal it with silicon / Arcylic.

I use normal plaster ceiling. I ask my contractor before, he say make sure got good air circulation no problem.

Kitchen? Why kitchen? Bathroom is usually less ventilated I thought. Kitchen grout can seal with silicon/arcylic too and can find this in any hardware shop?

Need to pinjam your brain a bit on lighting as I am a complete noob here. blush.gif The old house I am staying in is using the old fluorescent light. As I know, it comes like this

Can just buy the t5 and pasang or have to replace the whole thing including fixture base? I see that nowdays shops selling very nice set with decorative cover but not sure if I can buy this and pasang t5 energy saving. Need better or more reliable base (this one no brand)? Or ballast component is most important?

Added on December 2, 2011, 12:02 amAcid Stain all done. The border is stain in difference color. Too bad the concrete did not react to the color we wanted. Well acid stain is random, can't complain.
This 3 photos taken by the contractor. Will have to take a top view. biggrin.gif

Thanks bro.

Skip stain and just sand and paint with water base polyurethane can? I think hardware shop easy to find water base polyurethane wood sealer? Not difficult to paint right? blush.gif

Sorry been very busy in work, no time to write. I use polyurethane wood sealer after I stain the wood.

Have not try big wood, but I stain the Ikea Standing chair.
