Eh..you show like that...mana tau its a forummer...or a moderator..or a staff...or a corporal's house..or an inspector....

Well, to be honest I don't know. I was only following weikee's renovation and decided to drive past a few weeks ago to view and appreciate his masterpiece (- my favourite pastimes is to drive around looking at new renovations and new houses). Then I saw the massive renovation which seems out of sync with the neighbourhood. 2 days ago I drove past again and decided to take a snapshot - a picture tells a thousand word. If you look at the house with the grand balcony by itself it is actually quite nicely done. But his/her poor neighbours will now have to renovate to match the facade.
in my opinion, balcony is a waste of space as we Malaysians don't normally like to go out onto a balcony (of link houses) to enjoy the views or the sun. It is a different story for high rise condos.

Think on the bright side, my house getting more low profile now, not worry of thief :-) if you look on the other side my house not too bad. I feel her neighbor affected most.
I do understand your concerns as a few year ago my house was burgled just afew months after we did some minor renovation, my husband got a new company car and we bought a new car for my son. Nowadays it is never too safe to unintentionally attract attention - either robbers/burglars or the LHDN Officers may pay a visit. Yes, your side not so affected by your neighbour. Cheers
