All the cars you mentioned no issue at all... Don't even need to drop gear.. I think by smooth he means the power delivery very linear.

Tqvm bro. I'm now in process of settling my er6n loan and trading my bike to xj6.

Is your one a XJ6 diversion or a naked version ?

Owning an ER6 is a great experience. My background was from a kapchai. ER6 was a big of learning curve for me. Body positioning, cornering, and having the balls to lean on a curvy roads.

A few items to convince me to get Diversion:

I love inline 4's exhaust sound.
I love smooth handling.
I wanna try a bike with a fairing.
I want comfort and slightly lower seating position for my short legs.
I love casual long distance rides from PJ to Cyberjaya and going nowhere in Cyberjaya/Putrajaya on my Sundays.

Mine diversion . If you prefer touring you should take versys . If you like the sound . Then xj6 is a good choice .. If you look for performance . Er6 n xj6 i think almost the same . Too speed er6n might be faster ..

Yep, touring better go for versys. Xj6 had slight forward lean which is uncomfortable for long continuous journey.

just wondering... how do you pump air for your front tyre? I can't seem to get the hose into the valve cos the brake discs are in the way.

Ignore this question. I think it's a try and error thing. I'll stick with authorized dealers service centre for now. smile.gif

Just get my XJ6 Diversion F today. I really really love the handling and smoothness of the bike. thumbup.gif

So light and nimble. Lovely bike. I was never this excited and happy when I own my previous ER6N smile.gif

Yamaha does know how to make bikes biggrin.gif

The bike is super heavy for me. Not too easy to reverse unless I get off and push. Gotta hit the gym and do arm and upper body exercises lah! biggrin.gif

You can settle with what way you can do for now. You'll get used to it eventually. My leg is short too, i'm 164cm, with a 30inch in seam. So normally i push my bike to reverse it. I'm kinda like doing it nowadays coz i have more connection with my bike. biggrin.gif

You don't really have to go to gym actually. Also never muscle against your power horse. That's the mistake I did last time. My friend said something that makes sense to me. Learn to be your power horse's good friend.

For me, it's really really nimble and light like riding my wife's Honda wave kapchai lightness (that's my personal experience). The center of gravity is really low which is friendlier to handle for beginners. Smooth like butter.

My former bike er6n, the centre gravity is high, which makes me easier to jatuh bodoh (dropped my bike 3 times need some good leg strength). With full tank petrol it's 210-220 kg worth of weight. Wonder why a 650cc bike can weight like a litre bike.... laugh.gif
