Wifey urged me to get some bathroom accessories to put things (e.g. toothpaste, Shampoo, soap etc etc etc...)
I admit, I was also getting tired of using sink top and toilet bowl top as tables, so I agree.
This triggered a round of
"Hunting Bathroom Accessories "  tongue.gif

I concentrated my hunt on a few Brands and Shops.
The Brands and Shops are

Sorento - Has a relatively full range of bathroom accessories, but the retail price and discounted price are quite significant so gotta nego. Quite easy to find as it is distributed widely.

Rubine - Has a relatively full range of bathroom accessories. Home Depot claims to have the best price - 40% off retail

Mocha - Has a relatively full range of bathroom accessories, quite similar to Sorento but they have also a good range of plastic wares. Not so easy to find this brand

Ace Hardware - Has a surprisingly wide range of bathroom accessories that are suitable for general use, some are quite innovative but the prices are kinda steep relatively.

Daiso - Cheap Plastic wares, RM5 only, Limited to RM 5 a piece cost item so limited choice but sometimes you find darn useful things there. Good quality too for a RM 5 item.  tongue.gif

Note: Found out that Sorento and Mocha is the same distributor located in Jalan Meru ran by diffrent department. To see the actual full range go to the HQ (google it), but prices are not so good there as distributor cannot undercut their dealers.

There are many types of Bathroom accessories but I only concentrated on accessories for storage.
Below are the items I was interested in and my thoughts as to their pro and cons.
Also are my findings on where it is available

And these items are

1. Glass Shelf
- Front wall mount type
- Corner mount type
- Can be single to triple tier
I think this is good for placing your toothpaste, lotion etc as this has a flat surface.. but after awhile, you need to wipe it clean to prevent it getting lime deposit, water marks.
@ Sorento, Rubine, Mocha

2. Basket (Stainless steel basket) - alternative to Glass shelf
- Rectangle wall mount type
- Corner mount type
- Can be single to triple tier
This should be good for location where there is a lot of water splash as there is less need to wipe clean, just spray clean. Good for placing shampoo, liquid soap etc etc..
@ Rubine

3. Paper Holder - Toilet roll dispenser
- Stainless steel type
- Plastic type
The Stainless steel might look good but it is only suitable for dry places which I think the bathroom is not, Your toilet paper roll will get soaked.
The Plastic type is suitable for wet area as it usually cover fully your toilet paper roll from water splashes. But the design usually looks damm ugly.
Stainless Steel Type @ Sorento, Rubine, Mocha, Ace Hardware
Plastic type @ Mocha, Ace Hardware

4. Towel Shelf
- Places for you to put and hang your towel
@Sorento, Rubine, Mocha

5. Mirror Cabinet - all cabinets for the toilet that I've seen so far has a mirror
- Wall mount Cabinets with Mirror in Front
- Wall mount Cabinets with Mirror inside
If you want 2 in 1 the former option is good but if you already have a nice mirror the latter option should be right.
This is only suitable if you have space to mount as these items are relatively chunky.
With Front Mirror @ Sorento, Rubine
With Mirror Inside @ Sorento (maybe Mocha)

6. Hook Bar - towel or clothes hanger.
- Wall Screw on metal type
- Plastic double sided stick on type.
The former looks good, secure,  but you need to drill holes, the latter is the opposite.
Metal Type @ Everyone has it
Plastic Type @ Ace Hardware & Daiso

What do you think of Johnson Suisse's bath accessories?

Updates: Magnetic Insect Screen

Earlier I mentioned that I went looking to install Magnetic System Insect screen to some of my widows.
Finally got it done.  rclxms.gif
Wanted to record down the whole process and share here but was unable as I was busy working that day.
My wife supervised the installation but she is not interested in the "process" just the "result". wink.gif
Ahahahahaha...sounded a bit like me too...that's why I'm not so good at sharing the detail process.... tongue.gif
