phoenix, just read thru every single page of this thread. very informative and nice sharing. from ur older post earlier, u mention that u got an agent to do the MPSJ submission, drawing and the plan was drawn 90% similar to wat u are renovating. could you share on the agent contact and whether did u get ur approval/CF in the end?

i m starting my reno as well, somewat similar scope of work with urs but with lower budget and material quality. :s

thanks!!!

Phoenix, i notice u extend ur original living room to a straight line. May i know if u move or replace the original TNB power lines that run pass ur house? i m planning to extend whole of my living room 2 feet to a straight line too, but i was advise by my contractor that i cant hide the original power lines in my house. i will have to get TNB to re-lay new power lines along the new walls and it is going to cost me 2-3k !!!!!

any idea how to implement this extension without denting my poor wallet another 3k ? icon_question.gif

Thanks thanks!!!!

but my problem is i m now clueless how to apply. heard that if you go to MPSJ, some "buaya" shocking.gif officers will approach u to "help" get your submission. price depends on how extensive your reno is and how many standard guideline u break sweat.gif

Depend on area, like Subang, I have to go through TNB officer to arrange the recabling. Some area they just give you the certified contractor and you go call them. My relocation is about 1.1k

Go TNB for your area and check. You can even relocate TNB pillar, or light post

I extend follow the most front wall line, not sure if it makes any different in price but TNB original wire must remain their original one, must be visible from outside.
