Renovation Updates :- Some loose ends ....

A Dummy / Noob Household Ethernet Networking

During renovation earlier I wanted some wires that transfer internet data that I see used in my office to be incorporated in my house.
At the time I do not really know what I was doing as I am not a technically versed guy.
I was just thinking that wire should transfer faster than wireless and wireless may not reach some areas (eg 1st floor) in the house.
So I asked my electrical wireman contractor to do it for me but he dunno and do not want to do it.
So I went out and bought a box of CAT 5e cable and gotten my wetwork contractor to conceal the cable for me.
The cable were left jutting out of the wall as the wetwork guy dunno how to "fix" the wire end.

This is a case of the blind (me-dunno) leading the blind (Contractor-dunno). 

Finally gotten some-one to "fix" the cable end. 

These picture location is the wall behind where the UNIFI's  BTU and Modem are located.

Loose Dangling CAT 5eCable jutting out from the wall.


The Cable are all attached to Keystone Jack and the Keystone jack to the Faceplate.


The Faceplate is finally attached/cupped to the wall (Inside the wall there is a faceplate wall base -the same thing used by wall power points)


Note: the other end are located in 4 diffrent part of the house where i think  I might use it in the future
2 are located behind the living room TV (HyppTV Box, possible small PC, possible Gaming Console)
1 are located on the 1st floor living room (possible extra wifi modem for 1st floor)
1 are located in the Master Bedroom

Finally all the avalaible ports from the current WiFi Modem are connected to the "Ah Beng's Ethernet Network" 


Could have done this soooo much better if i knew what I was doing initially. 

Errrr.... What is a server ah??? What does it do???? Can use server here ah??? What else can I do to utilise this network thing I have set up here???
