Yes. nod.gif
Actually dropped by Ipoh marble factory. Very pricey lah. sweat.gif
Colours are not uniform (natural),
It gets thicker as the pieces get bigger (to support the piece).
You need to get a marble tiling specialist to install the tiles.
They also have nice stone pieces for wall or flooring purposes.
Very nice but the price rclxub.gif

Seeking advise from sifu's here.

Is the correct renovation sequence... Lay tiles first followed by plaster ceiling, painting, install door and windows?

Thanks in advance

If you are laying the floor tiles, then best if this is done after the plaster ceiling works. Else, the floor tiles can get damage & dirty.
For the wall tiles that are installed till the ceiling level, then would be good to get the wall tiling done before the plaster ceiling. However, if the timing of the 2 different trades cannot match, having the ceiling done before the wall tiles is also OK, provided the ceiling level is predetermined to suit the wall tiles, etc.

Yes, as Kelyvn said, wall tiles first then plaster ceiling. It's much neater.

Doors can only be installed once the flooring is done (or at least the flooring level is determined).

It is against the MPSJ's regulation to brick them up.
Anyway, it will block off ventilation as well

Yup. My contractor insisted that I choose the gate supplier to get these 2 metal post before building the columm. blush.gif
He says regular gate hinge that is supplied by hardware shop is just not strong enough for the type of gate I want.

So good of your contractor to advise you. Mine just reused the old hinge......... I hope my gate don't start to sag after a while as I have lengthened each side by 2 feet.

The contract maybe using a thicker and longer hinge that look like the old hinge. Mine replace with a 1' length install in the left and right pillar.

It's good...because I saw your house door and gate also don't have....

The thief broke into my house around 6-8 times during my renovation period...they stole the steel metal or any other things that can be sold...even my wire also been cut once...nightmare gone...plan to move in during school holiday.....hopefully...
