laminated flooring NO need polish & CAN NOT be polish..
Engineering board which have 2-3mm thick real wood on top can polish/ drind 1-2 time if scratched.

some solid wood floor also pre-finish but the best is grind & finish on site, u won't feel any gap/ uneven joint
*
Cause see those worker never protect the flooring during working in the picture. Ain't it will scratch and dented the floor?

If the sink pipes don't join a floor trap inside a house, it should join a gulley trap outside the house.

The pipes going straight to the drain is no right.  The elbows (L) may get blocked. And this is very common with
so much food and oily stuff going down the sink.

Without a trap, there is no way to clear a blockage. You'll have to hack out all the pipes or lay new pipes.
My kicthen sink drain pipe also don't have trap bottle. Straight down to manhole. Over 14yrs no problem. Because the kicthen sink have a filter trap the large waste and I throw it after finish wash.

But all toliet have the trap bottle.

QUOTE(Maplin @ Apr 16 2012, 05:08 PM)
Hi Bro, looks like you have installed the Grundfos Pump with a pressure tank. Let me tell you my horror story about this pump.
I have installed the same pump about 5 years ago at my house based on the advice from my solarmate water heater supplier to increase the pressure of the shower and etc.

It was so good until I started to face pipe burst (after 2 years) inside the wall. So, called the original plumber to check and he said that it is due to poor quality of pipe installed by developer. Within a weeks time, the same pipe burst again but at different place!! I was not happy with my old plumber, so I called another plumber and he told me the same thing (quality of the pipe not good). Since then, it became a routine to replace burst pipes every now and then in my whole house. I have used almost 6 different plumber but all of them blamed the original pipe installed by the developer was very low in quality (thin its seems).
I realised that I could hear funny sound from the celling everytime I on and off the water tap. So I suspected it could be the pump that I installed. So I called Grundfos @ Glenmarie and to my suprise, they told me that any Grundfos pump with a tank need to be service every 6 months once!!!!
The Grundfos technician who visited my house told me that due to inconsistent of pressure at pump could lead to burst pipe. He advice to service the pump every 6 months once to avoid such problem!!!!

So do remember to service your pump every six months once.

Good luck!
*
What you need to service on the pump?

Look like high cost to own a pump which require service every 6mth.

Termite treatment last for two years or less. That's why the company gave you warranty for two years only. Termite dun just come from the ground. Adult termite can fly.

Renovation Updates

Clothes Hanger :- after thinking and rethinking on what and how to install the clothes hanger in my laundry area hmm.gif ,
finally decided to go with zheilwane suggestion.  icon_rolleyes.gif
Initially was worried that it will swing, but after looking at the product in Homedec 2012,
I realized that it can be " locked" to the ceiling when it is fully raised, thus no swinging.  nod.gif
(Also I realized that to install a clothes hanger in the laundry room area myself is darn difficult  tongue.gif )

The installation process

Screwing in the fittings to the roof truss

Hope that there is an actual microsolar user in the forum to give an actual review. Most of us are limited by $$$$$$

My friend is using microsolar. He is using 8-10person model but actual only have 3-4person in the house. So the solar heater look like a big spaceship with 2 antenna ontop of his roof. biggrin.gif 2-3days raining continue, water still hot. I will ask again this few day how is the temperature early morning compare before day.

Feedback and price I did post before in solar heater site.

I saw some microsolar pictures on the net. Why they got antenna wan?
*
That is steam pressure release or something like that according to my friend explain. The water will get very hot and without pressure release, your tank will explode.
