I bought this sofa in the early stages of  renovation without really taking into consideration the dimension.  blush.gif

Me any wifey just fell in love with this when we first saw it and knew we just have to have it.  drool.gif

When I measured the living room dimension later, was a bit worried that it won't fit.  sweat.gif

But this sofa is designed in 3 protion which allow me to mix and match to fit the living room.  icon_rolleyes.gif

2 portion with hand rest on each end (A portion hand rest on the left side and the other portion, right side).
1 portion no hand rest.

This allows for many placement option.

With all 3 portion, I can set the sofa in L shape ( also can do an inverted L). Another option is to set the sofa in U shape.

If still too big then another option is to take away 1 portion to be used stand alone and the the balance 2 portion to be used as a mini L shape.

Eventually I went with the 1 st option as the living room size fits it nicely.    laugh.gif

Only trouble is I need a 60" TV to compliment this sofa  tongue.gif

How much was your sofa? Am planning to drop by Florentino this weekend.

Love the deep seating of their sofas... Excellent to chill and watch tv.

Ok Lah, I don't sleep long. Used to staying late conference call with US.

New job no need already smile.gif

Its not the sleep long thats the problem... its the constant waking up to go get stuff done that wears you out.

Last month I came across a request from the "Sofa, Leather or Fabric?" thread  smile.gif
Not part of my renovation but since Sofa seems to be a often mentioned topic here,

sooo here's mine  icon_rolleyes.gif

My looooooonnnnng fabric sofa  blush.gif  (I can't get the whole sofa to fit the picture due to limited space of my living room. blink.gif )

Is yours the Florentino Cool model? Just got that today and am wondering how you've found their sofa, so far.
Bought the 2x 3 seater with arm rest and 1x 2 seater without arm rest.

I think its the same model as yours, if i'm not mistaken. wink.gif

Err.. I dunno what my model is called. tongue.gif
Fron your description, should be the same as mine.  nod.gif
The original colour fabric is dark colour, I changed the fabric.
So far so good. No complaints. icon_rolleyes.gif
The fabric I choose is surprisingly good with stains.  thumbup.gif

Yup, that should be the one.  nod.gif

Compliments to your choice.  thumbup.gif

There is another Gold fabric colour one by the same designer that won an award and is displayed in a gallery somewhere in Europe.(they say wan)
Wanted the fabric, but they say no as the designer specifically forbidden it.  doh.gif

Abit hard to match gold sofa with most interiors, no? I choose a dark blackish brown colour for the sofa to match my interior.

Most of my furniture is a walnut type colour hence the selection.

Dunno about plumbing price, get a few more quotes and then you judge for yourself.

Since you are already planning to change all 3 toilet conceal piping, change all lah.  New pipes is always preferable to old pipes as they have no lime build up.
I use PVC 7 pipes as recommended in this forum. My contractor and plumber were surprised as they both say that this pipe is very durable,
Since you are considering to hack hack hack, consider solar water heating system too.
After renovation, remember to get the pipes location diagram behind the wall. Next time you know where to avoid when you want to drill for fittings installation.
Good Luck  icon_rolleyes.gif

Haha,  biggrin.gif
I am pleasantly surprised when I came back for a visit, there were still some new "visitors " to my house.
The next time I spend more on my house, will have to put up some new post in this thread mainly to
1. De stress from spending money on the house
2. Give some new material for "visitors"

BTW, long time no see adrianjc  biggrin.gif

Hahahaha... de stress during reno is a normal must have. After a couple of years in my own place, must admit there are some things where i'm still wondering "WTF was i thinking". smile.gif

Yup... long time have not been back to the forum. Job, kid, rebuilding Habitat website all eating into my time. But actually starting to itch like want to do another project after seeing other ppls house renos. blink.gif
