Cause see those worker never protect the flooring during working in the picture. Ain't it will scratch and dented the floor?
*
It is floor after all, not to-fu, so there is a level of durability.
Mine is AC3 Grade
AC3 - laminate flooring can withstand any type of heavy residential traffic and may also be used in a professional setting with light traffic.

How much the AMfloor cost psf? and your skirting is MDF?

Initially i plan for Inovar and Robina 8mm floor, but they have a lot design is out of stock or no in market any more.
After try to walk on 8mm and 12mm and i decided go for 12mm....but 12mm have less design...all dark color.... rclxub.gif

But i really like the 12mm feel....can feel the "wood" compare to 8mm. 12mm is AC5, what is different compare to 8mm AC3?

So far i only see compariosn between AC3 and AC4:

Level Of Use
AC3 = Class 23 / 31
AC4 = Class 23 / 32

Abrasion Class
AC 3 = IP-Value: ≥2000 revolutions
AC4 = IP=Value: ≥4000 revolutions
*
Amfloor cost psf is relatively similar to Inovar. and yes, my skirting is in MDF. nod.gif
Amfloor utilises Robina's floorboards. Robina do distribute selected models to selected companies to avoid conflict.
For Inovar, ther use Stailhelm boards which they distribute wholly through Inovar.
If you are looking for out of stock Inovar boards then less chance of finding it.
If you are looking for out of stock Robina boards, can still try other companies as the others companies may still have the stock.

I went for Amfloor mainly because
1. they have the design I wanted,
2. the boards selection has the feel I like (some boards embossing just keel too plastiky),
3. they use Malaysian boards,
4. good reviews from LYN.

12mm is nice, it is usually AC4 or higher thus are more durable.
But for me the embossed pattern and design on the surface are not what I wanted.

i like the former colour..looks lively tongue.gif (maybe with red/blk or grey roof the colour not match, hence, new colour looks more gooding)

your porch is nice. blend really well with 1st floor and neighbour's. if raining, wouldn't the water from pengola enter ur neighbour's area?

hope to see you move in before CNY biggrin.gif

I don't wan kinder garden colour shakehead.gif My brain will go rclxub.gif

Brought my curtain tracks.
IKEA's KVARTAL Curtain and panel suspension system.
Main reason why I choose then is that they look so cool. cool2.gif
They are also solid, strong and very nicely designed thumbup.gif ....... and the look so cool (again) tongue.gif

i see that you've changed the colour of your house exterior walls. can tell me the name of the colour, cause really like the colour that you chose. smile.gif

Added on December 29, 2011, 2:46 amwhen i did the curtain, just asked the plaster ceiling ppl to leave a bit of gap so that i can hide the curtain rails inside.
*
I used Mr Paintman, Before was Golden Field then changed to Vistasik Brown (I think).
You gotta see their actual catalogue. blush.gif

To hide the curtain rails, really depends on the curtain cutting.
Usually all standard curtain will hide the rails. nod.gif

Renovation Updates:- Grill Installation

My Huge ass grill arrives and is installed

1st Floor Grill Installation,

user posted imageuser posted image

Getting the grill up the 1st floor has a very interesting back story.
I was actually reminded by my mattress supplier that I need space to move my mattress up the stairs, that is why the stairs was re-renovated earlier. rclxub.gif
When the top floor grill initially arrived, it had to be taken back and re-modified to 2 piece to enable it to be moved up as the initial 1 piece design was just too darn big, even for my handle-less stairs. shakehead.gif
Thus the grill was installed 2 days apart. nod.gif

With so many members asking for the Grill contact, you should ask your Grill contractor to give you a 5% rebate for every new contract they got after seeing your finished Grill.  tongue.gif
