Anonymous are picking the wrong targets. They should be attacking RIM (Recording Industry of Malaysia)'s website:
http://www.rim.org.my/

They were the ones who lobbied for the blocking of file sharing sites. Not the universities, not the tourism board and definitely not Sabah's state government.

So, what u guys think will happen next?
I think if the hack is exposed by the international media, then the Malaysian tourism will be affected.

Anybody u know from the sabahtourism id list?icon_rolleyes.gif

Unfortunately, this morning's news just announced that the gov is putting the targeted sites offline to avoid being hacked.
Soon as they put it back online - it's like nothing ever happened.

Well they did say that there are user accounts affected but that's not much damage compare to what happened to the PSN doh.gif

Unless Anon can make those servers burst into fire, I'm pretty much convinced the damage control will be severely minimal sweat.gif

The www.malaysia.gov.my is up and running fine, but only if you can access from government internal network.

But if they can easily hack into the servers, i think ppl would reconsider to host data from here. It will surely have a major impact if that happens.
