Almost 2k. But indeed protatube is pretty powerful. I think I should pair well with a lot of headphone.

yah, try it out with tube amp..
actually last time i tried this phone with the CDP and Rudistor amp in Jaben Pg, and srsly don't like the sound..
everything just sounded so wrong.. im not sure whether it's the CDP or amp that make it sounded weird, or maybe both.. 

then last week went to try it with tube amp, it turned out to be good.. have taken quite a liking to it now..  might be in my wishlist next, who knows?

got myself an ad500, this babe chooses source and hard to pair 2 suit my taste. Overall, very nice sq when u get it right!

HA20 is a lil soft for my taste compared to the govibe peak that extends the highs/lows better. that said, still a very good amp for its price (cheaper than the govibe peak and performing just as good depending on preference) and also looks good too with its LED light/see through panel

was wondering did anyone tried AD700? how is the sound quality like? I'm choosing another pair of headphones mainly for vocals =)

hmm, but my budget doesnt stretch that far out, so would you say AD700 is a step down/ budget version of ad900? or totally different level? I'm just looking something for jazz/lounge/ and vocal/pop.

AD500 is pretty interesting, its in between those two ad300 and ad700 that i tested before but does it sounds similar with those two?
