If u got a surround, or home theatre system at your home, buy an optical cable direct from xbox360 to your home theatre system, if just 2.1 PC speaker, just use the sound out from monitor

FYI: u can use both HDMI and Optical at the same time

how to use the optical?

btw, XL2370 has audio out jack, but S23A350 dont have. how if the monitor dont have audio out? any solution?

this happens to me.

i play alots during night, so i prefer playing with headphone.
my new sharp 40's doesnt have audio out.
havent notice it in tv shop cuz i assume all tv have :/

so what i do is i buy DAC (digital to audio converter) from ebay..
havent found 1 in k.L, jalan pasar, and harvey normans..
seems like this thing doesnt exist in k.L :/

digital = optical from xbox --> DAC --> home theather,head phone or what ever..

and i tell u what, this thing aint cheap, so if i were u, i stick with the 1 with audio out..

erm , y u need that thing if u gonna direct plug in your home theatre? Most home threatre got optical port already wad, just buy a optical cable from XBox to Home theatre terus.

Hi,

I already got the GOLD HDMI cable... the problem now.. if the monitor dont have audio out how do i get the audio from XBOX? since the HDMI cable combines AUDIO + VIDEO in a single cable.

The samsung new series like the S23A350 dont have audio out. So what can i do to connect the audio to my speakers? Im using LOGITECH 5.1 Surround sounds speaker. It accepts the 3.5mm AUDIO JACK (Like the one we use for connecting headphones).

I dont get it about the OPTICAL thingy? Any pics for guide?

Bro. My cönnection is Monstercable HDMI for Xbox 360 connect to samsung 32 LCD tv, buy the RM 50 fake xbox 360 hdmi + audio. I just take the audio output that connect at the av or component slot. Then use av cable. White and red connect back to home theater. Done.
For ur case, u buy the item as above, then just buy another type of av cable stereo av to pc jack cable. White and red av connector at one end & pc input at one end. Only cost RM 15 for the cable. Ur problem solved.

i also play at night and using headphone most of the time. now my
problem is how do you use headphone and xbox headset at the same time?

right now xbox headset on left ear, headphone right ear(mono) but the sound
not good since i don't know where the sound come from, important
when playing FPS to hear footsteps approaching you.

Lol... The cable is not necessary.. you said you ald got HDMI cable right? Use it back... The just buy the Xbox 360 Adapter fake one RM 50...

Well, i just went to LOW YAT... none sell that combination...

Its more like you need to buy a HDMI for the video and buy the RCA Cable to Audio Out as well... so more wires hangs from your XBOX...

Thats what the shop guy told me... Im now so annoyed and just hate the Samsung new series... No AUDIO out jack port gives hell...
