I have an Nf8 with an older D0 core semp 2600+. With a single-sided cheap-ass pQI pc3200 cl3 I got 2634/ram:10 out of it (superpi 1m @ 34s!!!). Now with several double-sided sticks (an identical Pqi with twice the chips, double-sided D5) it fails to go much over 2400/ram :12 :S Only oc's when I set ram to 100mhz+ :D
Should one try Tccd orsmt? Any cheap ones that work decently? Do the newer cores have significantly improved ram compatibility? |
