hmm...you can try bumping up your vcore cayse by changing heatsink, it will result in a lower temp ...but the temp difference between stock heatsink and third party heatsink is bout 5 degrees at max...

zx7177 and sidewinderz..
u guys using infenion ram..

why i can only achieve 255fsb while using 166mhz divider?
i thought it's less than 210mhz ram..
but when i set 1:1 easily can get 235 with 2.5-3-2-6 1T same ram timing for 255fsb..
any timing to recommend me?
or should i reduce the HTT

i use default volt 2.6.. how far can put 2.8? infineon don't need high volt right?
tried loose timing but still can't go.. that's why put it tight..
hynix like loose timing.. but infineon seems dislike..
i'll try tonight to increase volt and play with the timing again..

HTT said to be not much diff in OC'ing and performance drops(read in DFI Street IINM)

they said even if you lower it to 1x , it supposedly still feeds enough data to teh processor

yup... before that i'm using 4x cannot boot above 255.. maybe exceeded more than 1020 so not stable... while dropping to 3x the HTT quite mild on 810..

thinking to increase fsb coz i think still got ample place to OC the ram..
just need to be patience to test them...
or maybe must think about cooling part..

267*3=801 still got space..
235*4=940 still ok..

that's why want to try again..
340*3=1020 should be ok near the ceiling.. great.. thumbup.gif

guys... wanna ask something....

Mine is s64 2800+. Using NF8-V2 mobo. maxed out at 332. But the problem is, the temp. Running it 2.4G on 1.475 n temp is idle 35c load is 43c. I'm on wc n vcore is 1.66v. I know its too high ( IIRC 1.7v is official amd max vcore ). The temp still the same, 35c idle full 49c.

2.4G on 1.475v
------------------
Idle = 35c ( mbm/speedfan/everest/abiteq read it as 29c, but i dont trust it. added 5c to mbm reading )

Full Load = 43c ( 8 hours prime )

2.611G on 1.66v
-------------------
idle = 35c ( same as above )
full load = 49c (8 hours prime )

Questions
------------

1. Shouldn't increased in vcore resulting higher temp on idle state?

2. I knew s64 max temp is 69c, so my full load on 1.66v is onli 49c. izzit still safe for me to pump more vcore? let say until the full temp around 60c.
