ya it works, last time my nf8 works oso, but cant go high, u hv to manually set ur ram timing on can go above 300htt

not 1gb stick perform better, it's becoz s754 cpu is built in with single memory controller, it's cpu limitation... if u put 2 stick 1gb oso same, htt might be limited

normally 2x double sided 512mb cant run well at s754 mobo, mr zorro got 2x tccd oso but only can hit high with 1 stick

so how high ur ram can perform? did u apply the ram setting i gave u? 9 prime 34.xxx in superpi after 1st reboot of system, not running all those msn, bt n other software btw

just changed to s64 2500+ and NV8, not bad though, doin 345htt now prime stable at 1.44v

mobo stucks at 350htt, will not boot after 350htt no matter wat setting, only cons i dun like is NF4 chipset is HOT! a lot hotter than dfi lp nf3 last time even though with the stock active heatsink similar design as vantec iceberg cooler

goldfries, u upgrade to the latest bios edi? ori bios sux 1 cant oc, n cyclone is true, sometimes 2 stick of double sided value ram limits the OC on s754 mobo, n i set all the ram option manually, anything auto will not boot at high htt

my sifu it's true nf4 chipset is really hot, i stay with default chipset voltage at 345htt, eventhough at default it's still a lot hotter than dfi lp nf3 last time

sidewinderz no worries, maybe u din manually set all the ram timing? i get ~946 score at 3dmark03 at 335htt last time, ram is same kvr infineon be6 but with all manual setting, dfi will run faster with all the manual setting or maybe nf4 punya pasal?

goldfries, at same speed can u feel ur a64 run faster?

i burn it yesterday using 1.7v running stock speed for s2500+ for 10hours, now priming 3 hours with 1.42v stable so far which is previously need 1.44v for 345htt

will burn again later hehe

izzit? i only burned for 10 hours, but u recommend 2 days, so thinkin to burn again

now running 1.41v which is default vcore stable at 345htt, prime stable for 4 hours

i dun understand option 4

aha seems sempron 3100+ is getting common in msia market now hehe, but it's a better choice to wait for s939 sempron, it's comin very soon, later s754 sempron sure all no use edi

btw goldfries, u prefer ur abit or dfi mobo? my cousin NV8 seems only 100% stable at 340htt, eventhough primestable at 345htt for proc n ram, sometimes it'll lag when playing movies, increasing others chipset/htt voltage doesnt help, only choice is lower down the htt

hands itchy wanna switch to DFI nf4-4x infinity, seems a lot better in tweakin but sux lookin n audio

ya thanks for reminding, DFI leaves me a good memory when i was on nf3 250gb, so thinkin the NF4-4x infinity wil give me another nice experience?

ic, maybe u r using 2 stick of ram n limit the OC instead? i remember they wont OC well if we set the ram timing stuff to auto, we hv to set it manually... well i think i'll hear ur advice to appreciate the NV8, less hassle, nice lookin pcb, better caps n better integrated audio

woot change toys? i can say ur rig is very good for most of the application now, some users told me tht the real life performance between s939 n s754 is actually a nope, only the upgrading or maintainance in the future only

i only know micronram is very geng, can do 280++mhz for it's 1 stick of 1gb ram, NOT 2x 512mb
