QUOTE(wtm0325 @ Nov 23 2005, 10:48 PM) another dfi owner hmm...dun mind, can you post your mem timings here?? i haf no idea what are the function of each of those things...(except the common ones)btw if tweak ur ram if u wan faster performance, it's always slower if u set it to auto yea..new board..haha..tired of waiting already.. QUOTE(soulfly @ Nov 23 2005, 11:03 PM) that is very true wtm0325 hmm...sourfly and wtm, did you all enable SMART?? cause i wonder if its a good thing...that's the special thing about DFIs.... u get to fine tune the memory timings to enable you to achieve higher speed. 1T is no problem on DFI with 2x512MB modules with high OC. i notice that 1T is not a problem..now running 1T at 3-4-4-8 1:1 ratio..hehe...wonder how high i can go before needing to use deviders...this board is getting interesting... @sourfly, wats your Vcore for your processor? you run it at 2.7Ghz 24/7? QUOTE(redken @ Nov 23 2005, 11:05 PM) temps for semprons is pretty low...i think you can go quite far with stock cooling, as long as you dun up your Vcore that much... |

QUOTE(wtm0325 @ Nov 27 2005, 12:08 AM) not 1gb stick perform better, it's becoz s754 cpu is built in with single memory controller, it's cpu limitation... if u put 2 stick 1gb oso same, htt might be limited yea..pretty sad to hear that...cant bare with 512mb of rams...so plug in the other piece...now running at 2.4ghz again...sigh... |

hmm...was just wondering....if my comp hangs while i'm in a middle of something and it doesnt restart, which part of my system is unable to support the clock speed? the ram or the processor?

QUOTE(soulfly @ Jan 3 2006, 03:16 PM) I didn't really burn-in my processor. I just run at whatever voltage that is stable for my processor. That's why I'm running it at 1.7V. I think it's the max for me until I can get better configuration or setting with lower voltage. oh...but issit safe ar..Vcore at 1.7v? hmm...how bout 1.75v for burn in?? hehe..issit too much?? Anyway... for now I'm only running everything at default speed for low power consumption and quiet computering experience. |
