i'd recommend abit cause for asus, you cant adjust the vcore of the processor....so basically, you're stuck at overclocking at stock vcore

QUOTE(chewkl @ May 25 2006, 04:49 PM) From Asus website: Overclocking Features AI Overclocking: - ASUS JumperFree - CPU, Memory, and AGP voltage adjustable - SFS (Stepless Frequency Selection) from 200MHz up to 300MHz at 1MHz increment - Adjustable FSB/DDR ratio. Fixed AGP/PCI frequencies - ASUS C.P.R.(CPU Parameter Recall) yea...you are right...but according to previous users who own this board, they are stuck max at 300HTT for their sempron 2800+ processor because they complain that the new bios that supports the E6 revision does not provide the option to tweak the voltages..perhaps they have fixed it...but from past experience, abit is pretty good...cyclone manage to get 2.76ghz with his sempron 2800+ using that board... but the 2 ram slots seem to be a lil turn off...

QUOTE(soulfly @ May 25 2006, 09:13 PM) chewkl..... try find Biostar instead... the one with 6100 chipset, that can do better than ASUS/ABIT think the reason why he wanted nforce 3 250gb chipset is because of its AGP port...i dun think he wanna move to PCIe...
