somtimes temperature low isnt represent tat a proc is stable, the component inside wil damaged coz of the high vcore
u c, if max temp is 69C, u try pump 1.7V wif default heatsink, then the temp wil be around 55-60C which is stil 10V below the max temp, u think it is safe? |

Guys, just want to share my experience here.
My mobo is nf8-v2 (great mobo, onli lack vdimm) n my ram is bt-d43 ( which oso great in sc A, not so good in sc 754 ). Thing is, i cant go more than 250 ( goes up to 265 in sc A 2.5-2-2-11@1T ). So using divider 166, i'm able to hit HTT 308 n ram already reach 248 ( 249, bsod ). I played wif Athlon64 Tweaker n found out I can set ram divider there. So, i test it with divider 150. Crank up the HTT using clockgen, up to 325 HTT. All this i achieved wif 1.55v on vcore. Superpi 4M, 8M, 16M and 32M finished without any hitch n able to score superpi 1M wif 34.730s. So, my guess is, NF8 is a great oc mobo, but lacks of feature such as vdimm, 0.5 LDT Multi n 150/183 ram divider make it second choice in it's class among oc'ers. |

hm, just curiosity to know why you guys' mobo allows you to change the multiplier which lower than 8? mine mobo, msi k8n neo3 does now allow me to change it! when i lower down the HT frequency to 3x then it becomes unbootable, force me to reset the jumper! any tricks?
