I wish I can get time broadband for my home, but they haven't made their way to Ampang yet.

Like a menstrual cycle, the AAG cables break once almost every month...

From TM's twitter: AAG cable 2 USA is being repaird frm 7-13Jan12.Custs may exp degradatn when accessng cntnt hostd in US,N. Asia&Europe

Looks like their staff cant type proper english as well sleep.gif How can we expect their 'engineers' to fix the AAG cables perfectly?
*
Do you even know why they type like that? doh.gif Twitter has limit of 140 characters only. How do you expect them to type in full. If you wanna read "proper English", click on the shortened link they've provided. Smart boy.

I give up on Screamyx ah. Play CODMW3, out of 20 games/matches, only 2-3 I get full/smooth ping. Others, 1 bar, 2 or 3. doh.gif

for those who normally can high speed bittorrent downloading up to maximum of their subscribed speed with any bt client such as utorrent at ip range 175.141.x.x (Sarawak, Sabah) area,

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

This screen capped on 17 Jan 2012. Look at the "Completed On" and "Elapsed", day of completed and time used to completed.
-Look at "4 days ago" since that time, all my task takes very long to complete, average speed 25kB/s.
-All tasks before that downloaded at average 80-100kB/s
*Forget about my current speed, I started using VPN since yesterday.
based on my bt client task history, since Jan 13 2012, it has been officially throttled, every task after that completed on average speed 25kB/s,
(175.141.2xx.xxx in east malaysia area was p2p mis-throttled or unthrottled, something like that, the only range you can full speed bt downloading),now become same as other ip ranges, your bitorrent average speed will never get over 30kb/s

happened for 512k and 1mbps users,

2mbps and 4mbps I've no idea since these accounts maybe different ip address than 1mbps accounts,
ask 2/4mbps users about their p2p speed
I've tested on mine(1mbps user), it's true, now you will never get good p2p speed on bt clients with any ip address, good luck

Status before jan 13:
P2P Throttled as usual since 2006 (speed very slow increase, 5-15kb/s, max <30kb/s)
60.52.x.x <- bad latencies to AU/NZ...
60.53.x.x <-bad latencies to AU/NZ...
124.8x.x.x <- this ip range seems disappeared someday last year , fine ip
115.x.x.x <- rare ip, worse performance, terrible performance except to local
118.x.x.x <- fine ip
175.141.19x.xxx <- fine ip

P2P Unthrottled or Misthrottled? I called it magic p2p ip (speed hits maximum in less than 10sec)
175.141.2xx.xxx <-best ip, and very fast and smooth p2p speed

Status since jan 13:
175.141.2xx.xxx P2P traffics is now throttled, same as other ip ranges (is now a fine ip range without good p2p speed)

Hmmm... DDLs from multiple filehosters have been slowed to the a great degree for single file DLs..

It takes 15-20 simultaneous DLs from those hosters to cap out my line.. it usually starts happening after 5pm and continues until the following morning..

An interesting, but somewhat beneficial side effect of this limiting is that i can surf the net really smoothly while my line is capped to the limit with those 15 odd downloads in the background using the bandwidth.. Previously if i maxed out the line my surfing would suffer so i usually allow 10-20 kBps breathing space for Firefox to operate...

Very peculiar...
