hi..newbie here..looking to get an ipad2.was surveying the price..and i wonder y is the ipad2 price in mac store cheaper then ipad2 sold online(mudah n lelong) or at any other shops??am i missing out on something here?please help me to clarify this.thanks.

they want untung lebih.. beside maybe they get the ipad before it relese in malaysia and that time they import to malaysia with high price.. then now they dont want to rugi.. hihi MAYBE..

Because now the demand is much higher than supply, even 100 higher than normal retail price still can sell out like hot cakes, so what for selling normal price?

nah... even until today those resellers will keep on saying no stock no stock when you walk in and ask for it. whether real no stock or not, i dono but it's just stupid why stop someone from buying when you can get sales?

push someone hard enuf, then one would rather buy from scalpers or just buy from apple online store. either way, resellers loss, true or not?

I thought buying from Apple Resellers will be convenient, so is the other way round, they require you to purchase minimum of RM3XX worth of accessories before you can purchase the Ipad 2....

nope i am not surprised. it's just another way to squeeze extra profit. Last week at LYP, MacSudio insited i must buy with YES huddle bundled together. not that they don have stock but they're practically holding you to ransom. luckily i got jalan to get (tumpang ppl buy lol)

Hmm.. That was 1 month back. My friend inquired them and they said you don't have to buy accessories to get iPad 2. Hmm. The resellers were Macstudio lol.

wait till they have access stock and turn the table on them..accessories with ipad 2 purchase.

Why the price Online is lot cheaper than buy it at reseller or like lelong and others.

If you say buying from lelong or other people, yes the prices are higher... but if you say resellers (assuming you're referring to Apple Authorised/Premium Resellers) are selling higher price than AOL, perhaps you can show us some backing of your claims. I wanna make sure Apple sees this...

reseller as in i buy online then sell it to you? or those computer shops/mobile phone stall?

people are queuing at real apple reseller (for example switch/machines or even harvey norman) is because they might get it quicker than buying online

buying online, today you order, it might take 10 to 30 days to reach your hand. It might be slow either due to low stock or stupid custom delaying and delaying it.

Machines etc rather sell by bulk to handphone shop resellers, i bet they get some 'commision' from these agents. Better than rrp to customers. Thats why always xde stock. Try search about the Hong Kong case.

Best is apple store online, it takes time but better than giving money to handphoneshop sellers. They are just getting some revenge since ipad 1 officially out, the rrp was damn low than their cutthroat prices. So they need to cov back the loss.
