eh? how did u open up the aperture if you put the lens on reverse? wouldnt it be at smallest aperture? (did u use any pin/mechanism to keep the aperture opened?)

His lens is 50mm f/1.8D, which has aperture ring on it...

Since most people are showing their macro skills, here are mine, C&C much appreciated... Have no idea for my subject though...

Nikon 50mm f/1.8D has aperture ring, so all he needs to do is to control through the ring.

Its easy, if u r canon user, u juz press and hold the depth of field button with 1 finger than another finger press the lens release/dismount button, ta-da.. now u have set ur aperture in ur lens.

he said his lens was on reverse mounting, so i reckon the DOF preview wouldnt work.. my A700 has DOF preview button too, not only canon has it smile.gif

Awesome panorama... Damn damn damn wide... Lol... Did yu use a tripod? Cause from the shadow at the bottom seems like you weren't. And even with a tripod how do you keep things so steady for shots like these?
