I loved the exploration puzzles in the first Tomb Raider. Sincerely hope this one is not a clone of Uncharted because I hate the Uncharted games... there I said it.

There are similarity like the cinematic camera work, combat is different, and you don't need to press any button to go into cover, is all auto and quote fluid, platform is quite obvious like uncharted, but is more open up than uncharted which is linear.
Haven't encounter any puzzle yet.
Don't expect deep weapon upgrade or skill system, is very simple and straight forward.
I see. Thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to exploring the Island. As long as the combat isn't horrible, like the last few tomb raider games, I'm ok with it. I've done enough killing in Dead Space 3 and Metal Gear Rising to last until PS4 comes out.

01. QTE a bit sux... 02. subtitle inside black box... 03. survival instinct cannot ON and OFF via same button...
other than that, this game is SUPERB...
agreed.

Hmm... wonder why you all use the survival instinct... make the game so easy.... i didnt use it at all, and find it lot more satisfying when achieving something... ;P
my thoughts EXACTLY... try playing without survival instinct for a feel of the original tomb raider.
a word of advice to whoever just got the game, switch save slots often. there's a glitched that makes this game impassable. The part where you need to pull a crate wrapped in rope. The crate just hangs there in the middle of the nothing. I'm sure it's a glitch and not something that's suppose to happen in game. Just happened to me a while ago. I had to restart from 0% and I was at 80% before.
Shit... I kena the rope ascender glitch. But thankfully there are Youtube videos to show how to get through there rather than starting a whole new game. Link to the video below for anyone else who might encounter this later in the game.
keith help me... can't see that youtube. I was also unlucky enough to get that glitch!
Hmmm... Can't see ar. You try search on Youtube, they have quite a few videos. Just remember, stand on the right side of the platform that you need to break open then you will see a sort of broken part of the floor. Try to position Lara to stand on top of that broken part of the floor and she will sort of fall, the moment she falls you gotta let go of your analog stick and hope she falls through the floor. Takes a while to get it but definitely can do. It sounds unclear so better you try and see a video.
