Guys..
Im thinking of adding ultra racing bar to my nhc... Currently i have front strut bar (2 points) ... Ut i have no idea which bar would give signifcant diff in handling... What i am thinking of is 19mm anti roll bar with 4 points front lower bar... Any other better opinion? |

QUOTE(shunryu @ Aug 3 2011, 01:17 PM) try UR 16mm anti-roll bar.. 19mm too big might cause snap oversteer So, r usuggesting 16mm ARB with 2 point front lower? It's better than 19mm ARB with 4points front lower?and 2 point front lower bar that links the two lower arms steering feels tightened with more feedback instantly after reversing out from the jack! |

QUOTE(shunryu @ Aug 3 2011, 02:43 PM) Yeah, to me i think it's better Ooo i see... Thanks for your input bro.. It's up to your individual needs and what do you expect the car to behave Because i think that i don't want to add too much weight onto the car 19mm and 4 Point front lower bar is thicker and contribute more weight Extra weight will slow down the car given the fact that our little 1.5 Litre engine doesn't have much power Any other suggesting? Btw, will front lower bar gives significant improvement like front strut bar and anti roll bar? If not that significant, i guess i will skip it... |

QUOTE(choon hon @ Aug 3 2011, 05:11 PM) Hey, Just installed Front Strut Bar(2 pts) on my car. However , I installed it at some accesories shop at Klang and somehow they don't seem to be really knowledgeable when it comes to installing this bars on Honda City. Can anyone here who installed the FSB and post a picture up so that i could compare? Thx FSB position for new city is a bit weird bro .. Normaly they attach to... Emm.. i dont what its name.. Haha.. But this city, the bar connected to body instaed... |

QUOTE(shunryu @ Aug 4 2011, 08:28 AM) To my experience, I only have these 3 bars and i can say Anti-roll bar gave me the most improvement Oo i see... Thanks bro for the explaination... Really appreciate that...if everything good, i gonna put rear ARB on my car later today...It actually minimizes body roll and lessen understeer in the corner But just recently installed that 2 point front lower bar, it gave me more steering feedback and more nimble to react when i turn the steering so i can conclude that handling response is better! But of course, you don't need to install every bars... just get what you need However, if you looking for a huge improvement over stock, and willing to modify some parts it's always better to save for Wider/Stickier Tyres, Japanese Sport Rims, Adjustable Coilovers to further improve road holding capabilities.. A slower good handling car can sometimes faster than high power average handling car Added on August 4, 2011, 8:31 am Usually a strut bar is connected to both ends of strut towers.. But due to limited space in NHC engine room, that strut bar has to connect to the firewall Which actually serve the same purpose of linking the weight transfer to both end of chassis, thus minimizing roll Btw, is that correct, we can install 2 bars for front lower at the same time? 1 is 2 points and another is 4 points? |

Not sure which one will give best effect, either 2 or 4 front lower to pair with rear ARB...[img]http://www.ultraracing.com.my/vgreenwap/image/Model/Honda/Honda%20fit%202008%20front%20lab.jpg[/img |

QUOTE(calvin_gsc @ Aug 4 2011, 11:00 PM) It's usually clearly embossed on the tyres. What brand r u using for front ARB? My seller said ultra racing dont hv front arb for new city... Is that correct?Added on August 4, 2011, 11:03 pm I installed both 2 point and 4 point for RM330. Really makes a lot of difference while cornering. Before this I had front strut bar and read ARB. Tyre still screams when cornering. But with the 2 n 4 point front lower bars. Massive improvement in handling during corners. Not afraid to do high speed cornering with the front ARB bars installed. Bro choon, i hv installed 16mm rear arb and lower front 2 pointa for 460rm... Pretty good deal i guess... But i hv not yet try... |

QUOTE(shunryu @ Aug 6 2011, 09:40 AM) I don't know where you get your fact from, but at least those ori wheels had gone through R&D by Enkei Haha.. True also.. It all depends on what do you value of, your life? or just the looks? Not long ago, It was raining and I had an accident with my old car skidding into a curb, I was riding on taiwan rims that time. Guess what? My left wheel tyre punctured along with the rim spokes torn into few pieces! I can't imagine if it was driven at highway speed... I'm not saying we can't get lightweight wheels, we can but get the genuine ones Say NO to replica Added on August 6, 2011, 9:46 am Muffler is the sound silencer box at the most end of your exhaust system It's plug and play usually if you're just changing the muffler, by unscrewing the bolts and rescrew But to my knowledge, using directly straight pipe in an auto transmission car will cause you to lose low end torque which slows down your pickup/acceleration... What's more, you're making a whole lot of disturbing noise and not moving an inch Not to mention the fuel consumption would went down the drain Do u guys know how much is the knn filter for our city? |

QUOTE(earl-ku @ Aug 8 2011, 06:25 AM) yeah, when i hit 160-170 the noise will come on, hissing sound - i remembered seeing some from hc3 forum complained and they replaced the rubber lining and the issue is resolved Oo i see... Then i better stick to semi syn... 5k km interval is just too fast... Roughly about 2 months for me..yeah the thing is no matter what oil u use, the service interval is going to be 5k, what i heard was, if u use fully syn, u can last it for 8k-10k and they will indicate in the book that u are using full syn in singapore, the service interval for full syn is 10k yeha i guess thats how they force u to do, by getting u come back for every 5k for that 100k/3 years warranty ... |
