Thanks a lot for the info. Well, I have been told that I would be able to get it at the end of August but hopefully the salesman keeps his promise. I can't stand waiting for another month.

Honestly, City loses to Vios in terms of ride comfort & suspension. When City goes through a deep hole, you can feel a hard shock & its like hitting metal. Vios on the other hand feels like there's a rubber that minimize the impact.

City is known for it's hard suspension, sporty mah

Vios more on Comfty side..

got my City 1 years ago....when newly drive, fuel consumption is good...even in city driving(including traffic jam), i could still get about 10km/l....travel long distance could get 13-14km/l

but now, in town driving i only get 8.xkm/l, long distance only about 12km/l, full tank cant last 300km for me.....it show the significant increase of the fuel consumption....anyone have idea what wrong with it? im not driving it like F1 car though....

How come cannot get 300km per tank? When u calc per tank, how much petrol are u talking about in terms of RM?

I am driving it for about 2 years already,so far will get around 400km per RM 60 petrol

It's not about the hard suspension... It's when you go through a deep pot hole, you feel that the CITY's dampening is hollow.
*
Yeap, this is one of CIty's weakness.Trust me,when u drive CITY around the potfilled roads of KL,you would wish you were in a VIOS.

VIOS is so damn comfortable and runs over the holes without a loud sound.CITy on the other hand, will make u suffer in ur car.SO you have to drive very slow around these kinda roads.

Thats what i have been experiencing in 2 years with my car.

Stuck in traffic jam will not improve mileage, in fact worsen. Cause you always accelerate and brake.

Those who drive long distance, highway a lot, don't floor all the time, keep rpm at 2-3.5k rpm

sure can get better mileage.

but even stuck in jam, that is unreasonable for this new city to get so low mileage for full tank, right?

Okay, for your information i also mostly drive with my gf only or alone
and i floor the pedal most of the time, revving 1st and 2nd gear to 6k rpm and the rest to 4k rpm
Mostly stop and go traffic city drive, and some curvy mountain road drive and overtaking, little hill climbing
For Rm60 and about 30 litres of fuel i could ran about 320km

I'm pretty sure if i drive casually i could get 380~400km for 30 litres, I've tried before laugh.gif

An alternative solution would be to change your rims to lighter 15" and pair with 205/50/R15 tyres
you will feel better acceleration/braking along with better fuel consumption brows.gif
