yeah, when i hit 160-170 the noise will come on, hissing sound - i remembered seeing some from hc3 forum complained and they replaced the rubber lining and the issue is resolved

yeah the thing is no matter what oil u use, the service interval is going to be 5k, what i heard was, if u use fully syn, u can last it for 8k-10k and they will indicate in the book that u are using full syn

in singapore, the service interval for full syn is 10k

yeha i guess thats how they force u to do, by getting u come back for every 5k for that 100k/3 years warranty ...

Yeah it depends on your personal budget
If you can afford paying for Fully synthetic for every 5k mileage service, then by all means go for it
If not, semi-synthetic is already a very good oil.. Not to mention it's using new SM grade formula
A frequently maintained car would perform in its optimum condition compared to those who go for lesser service intervals.

yeah just because its a Honday - lowest entry level for a honda, besides an EX5 kapcai hahaha

yeah the vios, please lah, but then again even the dugong has more stuff than the city ...

but then again, we are malaysians mah, f the segment la ... we compare use price wan mah hahahaha

yeah the fiesta, my staff has one, the 82k for a 1.6 ... is worth it, free service and lotsa other stuff, but then its freakin small inside u know ...
*
Hmm I donno about you but i get my car according to my needs, and I don't simply judge based on prices
I feel that B segment is just the right size for me, I don't pay for unnecessary things because it is cheaper or the same price flex.gif
At least I have more confidence in Japanese makes, and I can source for parts easily.
Ford fiesta is good for ladies la, buy for your wives or moms, but imagine a full-fledged businessman driving such a small car it's embarassing blush.gif

Which part of dugong has more stuff than city? TRD bodykit? TRD rims? TRD everything?
Those are utter useless..
Does it have 5th gear in its tranmission? Does it have paddle shift? Does it have big 506 litres of boot space? Does it have rear seat undertray? Does it have i-vtec? the list goes on hehehe whistling.gif

It depends on your driving style and whether you drive is city more or highway more. Many factors influence fuel consumption.

hahaha not to mention bout the cosmetics stuff la ... on the dugong, the alarm siren is louder and has a separate backup battery, trunk release(on my city i had to seal off the back lock with a large plate number, so i can only open via the latch inside car) hmmm i cant think of any more for now, but this two is good enough for me ...

edited: its dohc, comes with door visor(i dont need this actually), and the alarm also has tilt sensor ...

but i would still be buying a honda as i just dont like the dugong shape

Oh yeah, if you talk about minor stuff like alarms and boot release mechanism those can be modified easily...
Although City is SOHC but it makes more /same power than some other DOHC out there
I agreed that i can't stand the looks of Dugong too tongue.gif

By the way, had anyone changed their brake pads?
I went for Ferodo Zero as replacement of stock... still bedding them in
Any comments about these? or please recommend if any of you guys using any good performance pads out there icon_question.gif

Bro, I've seen that link already
That fella got an imitated one, mine has a groove in the middle
Quite bite even when cold compared to stock, don't need to step pedal for long time smile.gif

How much the cost for Pumatec?
Does it "eat" the rotor?

It's ceramic, so doesn't wear out rotors that easily.

But one annoying thing i get with these pads is that when I brake during slow speed <20 km/h to zero, the brakes are noisy. But from high speeds to zero, quiet.

Before changing the pads, I also skimmed my discs.

I got mine for IIRC it's RM300 for my front pair.

Does anyone experience irresponsive braking at cold with those 500+ celcius sport pads?

If only it can bite as good as when hot though
