Gratz in getting ur City  thumbup.gif  It is normal, the engine is still new and need time to settle in. The following mileage will be getting better.. no worries ...

but jam really not frenly with our City, the FC shines on highway cruise ..  sweat.gif
honda highway.. blush.gif

just to share some, i just service my car and opt for the fully synthetic, the green cap bottle.. put it full tank 'euro 3' BHP and i manage to clock 340km with half tank left (am referring to fuel gauge, not exactly half).. 2 ways KJG-MLK-KJG using PLUS.. on way to melaka, there is massive traffic jam, took my 2.5 hours for me to reach melaka exit toll.. anyone else experience good result with the new BHP?

I think the fuel plays a little role, it's all in your foot work. In fact, I am still sceptical of the new BHP petrol although I have yet to use it. Just to share with you my highway driving experience, I drive from KL - Alor Star, with lunch stopover at Ipoh. When I reach Alor Star, I still have fuel to go around the town for 2 more days. My consumption was around 650KM for a full tank. City is a killer when you're driving on a highway. In my everyday driving, my City can go up to 450KM for a full tank before I refill. I am using Esso RON97 and was on Semi Synthetic at that time. I had just switched to fully synthetic in my last major service this month.

for moderate to spirit driving, i would suggest stick to semi.. this full syn engine oil mainly for fuel saving, u will find ur car a bit lost of power from 100kmh onward.. not for my liking actually..

@cooldude,

im loyal to esso too, just giving this 'euro 3' BHP a try.. hehe.. tongue.gif

ya actually i changed to fully syn 0w-20 also earlier, felt like the car is more 'lazy' to accelerate. Planning to revert back to semi for spirit driving too flex.gif

one thing is i felt the car engine bay is hotter after changed to 0w-20, might be due to the viscosity thinner.

Has anyone noticed the noise level is quite high? I used to drive latio and just switched to Honda city recently. The noise level is very pronounced even during low speed driving... any advice pls?

got my car last monday,

now clocking on 1500km already.

so far my city is having quite good FC.

RM 55 for like 400-420 km.

BTW, i see from the spec, it writes we have a 42L tank, but everytime the fuel light on, i go n refuel and i only refuel like rm 55++. supposely 42L = RM 79? so anyone here the same with me??

another question, does anyone know where to install the 'brakelock' ? when we step on the brake, the car will auto lock all door.

Added on December 21, 2012, 1:01 amcurrent feedback :

Pros : good handling! i upgraded my tyre to 185 60 15 Bridgestone Potenza, the sidewall is harder and the cornering is much bettter now!
FC is good (so far for me smile.gif )

cons : No auto speedlock/brake lock
Ori alarm got no sound (anyone know how to fix?)

ya latio has the best sound proof, followed by city then vios...the only solution sadly is to do sound proofing, autofoam to reduce the noise ..

does the side step you bough comes with the connector ? If it comes with the connector then it is plug and play to the MICU aka fuse box.

1> If your side step comes with the connector then unplug the green harness, plug in your side step plug and there should be another plug to plug the green harness. Basically its a plug and play.

2> If your side step doesnt comes with the connector. You should have 2 wires, 1 is postive and the other 1 is negative. Slot the wires as shown in the below pic. No need to cut the wires, just slide in the wires and secure it. laugh.gif

Thanks for the advice. What would be the recommended package to sign for the autofoam? For limited budget.
