how many of you install the Connex Stolen Vehicle Recovery ?? anyone's car actually got stolen?  My opinion is that if everyone installed the OEM security, wouldn't the thief already know where and how to disable it?

No one is allowed to be around during the installation of Connex, only the installer from Cobra and 1 or 2 staff from Honda SC. wink.gif

A combination of GSM and GPS. They did mention about data service internet variation in the Connex.

no such thing, what he wanna void ? the windscreen ? it is insured by your insurance not the warranty. Very simple, ask him to produce an official Honda Malaysia statement that tinting outside will get which parts being excluded from warranty. If he cant produce that means he is bullcrabing you.

According to the SA, if we tinted the windscreen, those soap water might drop into the dashboard part and might cause problem to the electronic parts or elements inside there..this is what he told me..
However, i have just call Honda customer service centre, and the ppls confirmed with me edi..it will only void the part like automatic windows motor or somewhere part aroiund the door...(if we tinted the 4 doors only)...

yours is good idea..let me try challenge the SA when i take car on monday..hehe..official Honday malaysia statement... I am very curious too what parts they gonna avoid..

thats exactly what the SA told my friend too... he say soap water will leak through the dashboard and damaged the ECU or watever electronic components.... so it's not true?

I've seen many fellow forumers from previous thread like V4, V5, V6 no longer active...must have changed to new car...

Actually these are excuses so that they do not need to hassle for warranty claims. Our ECU is located in the engine bay just beside our battery and not inside the dashboard. The dashboard near to windscreen has the aircond vents then the firewall beams. How on earth the water leak into electronic components when there is none near to there ?

Means that there is no any ecu or any electronic parts under the windscreen? I mean inside the dashboard ..regardless the warranty claim or not...I also worry if the soap water will give some impact or effect to the car? I mean during tinted windscreen....because I got no knowledge bout what parts hide under the dashboard.. Hope someone can make some clarification...thanks
