After a long trip on hiway(Bangi <-> Ayer Hitam) i found that my car not stable enough for high speed travel. I've manage to clock 185kmph(odometer) ~175kmph(VSP). So far mod for stability only UR front tower bar and UR 16mm Anti Roll Bar. Why I say such thing is whenever I overtake a long trailer(Container aka Optimus Prime with flight tech) after my City nose aka grill reach open space which is after finish overtaking, my car will sway a lil' to the right. What else can I mod to ovecome such situation? In mind maybe wanna instal UR 2 point lower bar. Maybe after this change tyre to 195 instead of current 185 (want to go 205 but heard a lot of scrapping issue so wanna play safe). Spoiler only duck tail atm. Maybe adding front lips and front cannard can add front gripping ability?

Guys, not sure what happened but its either i kena bang or the bumper just got too hot under the sun and it warped. Though the possibilities of kena bang is slim as there is not a single mark ...

Anyone having this issue? the bumper just jut out like that after a day in the sun, whilst parked indoor ... i already pushed it in as best as possible before taking these pics ... its like a full 1cm jutting out ...

Guys Honda City does not use Timing belt but Timing Chain?
Last time I've been asked by Autohorized Dealer that whether I need to change the belt. Then i try to ask at other workshop outside they say HC does not need to change the belt/chain :/

The car also got some kind of weird smell even without aircon. Sticks to clothes. I took the car to my uni for a week and beh tahan already  Too bad, its a nice car for jams.

The new Modulo kit looks good. Very different unlike the current one we have. Finally a spoiler that looks good besides the ducktail. I was expecting more Civic look for the front grille after seeing the new Insight on the road.

My 2 year old city is giving me the following problem wondering if anyone experience that too:

(a) air-cond sometimes very warm and yet, sometimes is okay.  The problem became worse having serviced the air-cond for the 2nd time.  Constantly having warm and hot air, during this hot weather.  This is especially so when I am stuck in the jam and raving up the slope.  95% is warm and hot air and 5% is cold.  When it is normal, it is very cold.  I dont think is the gas problem as I just did the air cond service 2 months ago.  I sauna everyday in the car.  Now waiting for it to be fixed at the SC.

(b) it is hard to start.  Sometimes, feel like dying after starting the engine and yet.  Updated the system and yet stil feel the same.  Apparently the SA told me that it is a common problem.  They now have a cable, a recent technique.  Hope it helps.

i used the nanoblok/nanodor (odor remover)..but the smell still remain..the pad only work during day time...they need sunlight to active...but at nite the smell even stronger...

Added on May 17, 2012, 10:23 ami went to secondhand car dealer and test drive their honda city 2009..they also got smell like my car...isit the smell comin from burnt dashboard?
anyone experience this before?

i once did wanted to get VS then after some reading found that is it more a marketing gimmick.

Maybe it will be useful for those with ICE system but for normal usage, VS is not needed.

The last I went to service my car (2nd year service), I also complained to SA that car sometimes need to turn ignition few times to start.

The SA said, Honda just found out about this problem and already have a solution for it. They will replace the cable (I supposed it's ignition cable) to a bigger one. Honda will announce this soon. So all affected cars can get it replaced for free. Asked me to mention this the next time I send my car for service.

he mentioned RM72+ RM58 ..... I think the mileage is alright

anyway i will personally go try the car tomorrow morning. haha. if ok straight order car liao!!!

Hey guys, I just sent my NHC to fix the rear door rattling sound today at Tenaga Setia. Dropped my car at 7.30am before work and collected at 6.30pm after work. I noticed that my car has been traveled for 36KM. Is that normal for rattling sound checking? 36KM was unacceptable for me. What should I do?

Just did my 40k(but mileage 39k+) service yesterday 700+ and forgot to tell the sa to not change my air filter as i wanted to change to k&n ... damn now am stuck for another 20k on it ...

In regards to the humming sound which i had, which i thought was bearing issue, they checked and said its a tire issue ...

Also complained bout cranking issue, am trying to get my batt changed before reaching 40k km ... but they checked said its ok and added an Earth grounding wire instead ... friend who went to the USJ sc was advised instead to change it ... he didnt even complained as he went for the 40k service ...

am gonna return in 2 weeks time and let them know my cranking issue still there so they might change my batt .. hahaha

Since it is still in warranty, advise to just let SC to check on it. As i recall there is no loud tick tick sound from my ride. But there is a click sound once when changing positions etc N>D or R>N ... there is bound to have a click sound since the gears are changing.

yeah, i think so, even though its 30 - 40 ringgit savings ... its still money rite, what i heard was back then panasonic batt was quite shity, but now its way better thats why Honda is using it here ...

the cranking lag i get it few times a week, not really that often ...

the high gauge wire is grounding for the car, this will act in stabilizing electrical noise and voltage spikes and equalizing resistance and voltage between various ground points ... better grounding means better electricity flow through out the car as our car has quite some electronics on it ...

what i was told nowadays normal MF batts will last a year plus ... the standard ori batt will last u 18 months or so ...
