As title stated i want to buy a capture device that can capture gameplay from my xbox 360 in HD straight to my PC. Any shops in Selangor that sell it?

u can get a video in card, something like tv card for PC, make sure it has vga or hdmi input. record it in pc.

Hauppauge and Blackmagic are 2 of the more "common" ones mentioned, but not commonly used since they are a bit pricey

my budget is around rm 400, so can afford it?

just out of curiousity, why would u pay RM400 to capture yr gameplay video for other ppls viewing pleasure? whats the ROI ?

why not? maybe he has 1337 skilz to show off on youtube? god knows i've watched enough game play footage from good players.. makes a big difference in watching if it's recorded from video capture or from shakycam. and RM400 is not much if it's something you're going to use.

This is why im asking for his "ROI", whats the point showing yr l33t skills to all over the world? what do u get? even a shakycam like you said could do the job, why pay RM400? (example price)

I believe the Avermedia Capture HD should be able to do it for 360 only capture. You'll need a pretty powerful PC though since it doesn't do hardware compression.

RM 400? I better use it to buy Phillips Blue Ray player... RM 299.00

Very few ppl using, judging by the "reply" made from them
better off read the review from the internet than asking here.

It does capture HD images/videos, but your recording won't be HD, only 480p, so it kind of defeat your purpose.

so far, only halo:reach have a builtin gameplay recording system. All u need to do is to upload the gameplay to reach server and upload it to youtube using the pc.

Well, if you're not into HD capture card, I am selling easycap which capture in SD and cheap. Just saying
