I sincerely hope that our local Malaysian Fan show utmost respect for our National team. They will be playing badly against Liverpool, they will make silly mistake. We can chant and sing YNWA to our heart content. But do not boo our own. I saw what happen tonight at Arsenal match.. And I believe it will happen also with our team.

Like those who came early, we had chance to see our very own Harimau Malaya in training. But the highlight for me is when group of fans near my seating singing "inilah barisan kita" when rajagopal's boys walking out the stadium, then we all were singing.
I also agree with duke that we lack of coordination in singing and chanting. From my observation, the group next to me were singing a number of song, but too small numbers to get noticed. There were few group on the other side were singing as well. Can we like group this few group together so it would be much easier? Then again ticket and seating arrangement different also. |

Added on July 15, 2011, 1:40 am QUOTE(e30 @ Jul 15 2011, 03:31 AM) i was at green gate just now (in the section the rooney fan got caught), and there was a group singing a variety of songs which made the atmosphere really good in my section. just that it was hard to coordinate with other sections i guess. Hahaha guess we're at the same area, green gate 107. I was at the very front. You are correct there's a group there singing all the way, even sing 'barisan kita, for rajagopal's teami'll be at rm68 green gate this saturday. who else will be there?? QUOTE(led_zep_freak @ Jul 17 2011, 06:18 PM) What's he on about? While I respect him as the Malaysian coach, he seems a bit bitter here. Most of us - correct me if I'm wrong - were cheering loudly when the Malaysian team scored and at least from my section, there were loud and ongoing Malaysia chants throughout the match. At the end of the day, it's a friendly and we are proud that both teams put up their best to keep the fans entertained. I agree with you. Look back at the replay, fan were frantic when Malaysia winning the ball and shouted Malaysia with the drum beats ! It was very loud, maybe that just from where I'm seating. I was cheering for all 9 goals, not just 6.. How wonderful was that ! .. |
